We stayed here for three nights and had an excellent experience. The staff, especially Daphne, were attentive and kind. The breakfast team was outstanding. Our room was spacious, though some fixtures could use updating.
We enjoyed the privacy of the pool. The lounges were amazing, perfect for pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap.

One of the best hotels in Cape Town. We used this beautiful property exclusively for a group of guests and this is one of my favorite boutique hotels in the World after the experience.

The entire team went out of their way to create a bespoke experience for our guests. The inclusions are impressive.

This is a gem of a hotel. We really hope to use this property again in the near future.

Lovely gem of an old Cape Dutch country house, nestled into a quiet neighbourhood in the Southern suburbs. Easy exploring from here. Fabulous team; great food; even evening meals are available; superb garden and pool. We were treated like royalty. LOVED our stay. Many, many thanks

I have been hearing the buzz about how amazing Homespun is so we tried it.
The atmosphere was amazing. It was a beautiful summer's evening so we chose to sit outside. The noise inside the restaurant was a little loud.
The service was excellent and the food did not disappoint.
The only tweak, in my opinion, should be the desserts. At our table of three, not a single desert was good - we all ordered a different dessert.
I can otherwise confirm that the foodie buzz surrounding this restaurant is absolutely true!!!

My lawyer invited me breakfast, to this 'very special hidden gem' this morning. It's a beautiful setting, but the restaurant experience was disappointing. We arrived at 08:30, and the outside table was covered in a layer of dust. The waiter didn't seem to bother when I pointed this out. My omelet arrived without toast; getting a piece of whole wheat toast took more than 15min; enough time for my omelet to cold. The pepper pot on the table was empty, and the pepper pot on the next table didn't work. I ordered a second cup of coffee which arrived 10 minutes later on the table next to ours; I thought that coffee was mine, and when the waiter called another 5 minutes later, he realized that. I then had to ask for milk again even though I asked for milk. Is it maybe because I am Afrikaans and don't fit in, or was this just my unlucky day for service delivery in a so-called 5* establishment? My layer had a piece of avocado toast and an orange juice. I bill came to ZAR 500. Dit alles het net nie reg gevoel nie.
PS: Here's to hoping this message reaches management, for the sake of guests expecting 5* everything
