The Butcher Shop & Grill in Cape Town is, without a doubt, the best restaurant I have ever visited. If I could, I would give it an eleven out of ten! Everything about this place exudes excellence – from the impeccable design and high-end ambiance to the outstanding quality of the food. I am beyond impressed.

The staff are simply fantastic—warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. A special mention goes to Thulani who took exceptional care of us and provided top-notch recommendations. His service made our experience even more unforgettable.

The food was great. Service was not as expected. I recommend steaks. They have great dishes. The place is very noisy on evening. Too much of noise and you won’t be able to enjoy it if there is no group. I like their portions, it’s very good. Also, prices are ok. They will charge you 10% service fees.

We had a fantastic dining experience at this wonderful steak restaurant in Cape Town.

Every part of our meal, from starters to dessert, was delightful. They have a shop onsite to buy meat and seasonings etc. The meat was absolutely top quality.

Our waiter, Pardon, guided us to the wine room to help us make our choice and recommended an excellent wine which we enjoyed. His also provided great service.

We especially loved the two carpaccio starters. The wagyu rib eye steak was exquisite and cooked to perfection, the flavours were insane! The cheesecake at the end was an absolute delight.

We would definitely recommend and will be going back

An experience trying Kudu for the first time, though I wouldn't have it again, it's pretty tough. Service was really slow sadly, waited 25 minutes for the bill.
Food was good but definitely better places in cape town for steak.
