Beautiful place, the atmosphere was amazing, spacious, friendly waiters n waitresses. Cool vibes, it wasn’t full when we were there I enjoyed that. Played great music, compliments to the chef, the food was mouthwatering. Liked that the waiters are also knowledgeable about the menu. The only challenge was parking, I struggled with parking. I’d later learn that they do have parking available for guests but it was after I had parked on the side of the road and wasn’t willing to go back that far. Otherwise all round great great place

Went there our first night in capetown, had booked in advance  as was told they have a beautiful rooftop with sunset views.  Sadly, we didn't see a nice sunset as seated high and they had a plastic corner cover where sunset was (in summer) that made the view not nice.
Food was very nice and service good though slow but restaurant full and we were not in a hurry.
We had Champagne by the glass, wine, digestif. 2 Starter, 2main dishes and one desert

This establishment consistently ranks among our preferred dining destinations on Sea Point. The restaurant itself is rather spacious and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the sea, with both a terrace and an indoor seating area. The decor is tastefully appointed in light tones, and I suspect that advance reservations, particularly for dinner, would be advisable.

The Food:

We opted to share several appetizers and main courses. The fresh oysters, served with a simple wedge of lemon, are consistently excellent; plump, with a subtle, slightly sweet, and distinctly maritime flavor - indicative of an exceptionally fresh product. (For oyster enthusiasts, a larger platter with a signature dressing is available). Following the oysters, we enjoyed the young cucumbers with mayonnaise dressing. The cucumbers were incredibly fresh, sweet, and crisp, a deceptively simple yet and, in fact, one of our absolute favourites. For our main courses, we selected the butternut ravioli with sage, pine nuts, and butter. This was a truly masterful combination; the pasta itself was perfectly prepared, smooth, slightly chewy, and well-seasoned – an ideal foil to the rich filling and sauce. We also sampled the seafood platter for one. This featured a selection of prawns, crayfish, calamari, mussels, and fish; all of which were exceptionally fresh and flavourful. The combination with the two accompanying sauces only further enhanced the seafood's natural flavors. The platter was, in all respects, a very generous and satisfying portion for a single diner.

Service:

The service was exemplary; our waiter was both friendly and humorous, offering helpful advice when we were selecting our dishes and remaining readily available throughout the meal should we require anything. The atmosphere, overall, was wonderfully pleasant.

Conclusion:

This restaurant is a genuinely excellent choice, equally well-suited for a casual lunch with friends or a romantic dinner - particularly at sunset. Every dish we sampled was delicious, and the consistent high quality has remained unwavering over time. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Cocktails were amazing 🍸 but for the price:quantity ratio 🫠
Food 🍴 highly recommend the bone marrow short rib. The tuna tartar was very underwhelming. Crayfish was nice, lamb shank was amazing but I made the mistake of swapping out the mash for boiled potatoes. It was very rich and overwhelming and I quickly regretted substituting.
Couldn’t manage dessert, was fully satisfied. Presentation could do with a little more attention though 😉
Ambience ✨ was pleasant. This is not the kind of place you sit at and play loud videos though - I’d suggest management keep a closer eye because it affected many tables around the inconsiderate. It also impacted the potential ambience. Maybe we just got caught on a bad evening.
Overall, loved our time and experience ✨

Had an amazing time here! Was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time (which is saying something) and the service and atmosphere were impeccable. Unfortunately couldn’t enjoy the view due to the clouds but that did not matter at all. Would highly recommend coming here for a special evening.
