As far as South African museums go it’s well maintained and populated. Good for families, got cool Dino displays and many others. Definitely worth a visit!

I took my 7 year old son there. He was super excited & fascinated. If your child is into science & love everything about space then this place is the perfect place for them.

Unfortunately there were  younger children who were making noise busy going up and down, I honestly think it will be a good idea if there was an age restrictions because I left my 5 year old daughter back home knowing very well she can't concentrate for more than an hour not to mention the tantrums. She's not matured enough to visit the planetarium.

I think they should allow children from 7 years and above, so everyone can enjoy what they paid for without any distraction or noise from any infant or toddler.That is my option anyway.

Great fun for families, kids and couples with spectacular views and music as well as fascinating and educational short movies. There are dedicated movies for very young children in ghe mornings but check the timetable on fhe website which is updated frequently.

The ticket  personnel should advise ppl with kids to not go for certain shows as they child would not like it. It is absolutely horrendous for the host of the planetarium show to call out parents and say they should leave if their child talks and asks questions. An age limit should be in place for certain shows so parents aren’t forced and money wasted because the museum just wants to sell tickets.
