We really loved their cakes. Best was the carrot cake. But the lemon and almond cake was also very tasty. Just the right amount of moisture and sweetness. A little bit to dry towards the end of the slice.

We enjoyed the coffees a lot. Just the right amount of bitterness and character for a cortado.

Haven’t tried their savoury food but will be back for another test.

Good food and generous portions! The pizzas are definitely worth a try. Friendly staff and a chilled atmosphere. They also have a great playground outside for the smaller kids

Very good food. Love to eat on the patio. Parking was easy to find at 5:30pm mid-week. Our server, Tegra, was very attentive and smiled all the time. When we had a spill, she brought cleaning cloths and a mop quickly. I’ll definitely eat at Folk Cafe again when in the Muizenburg area.
