A warm, super friendly and very welcoming environment. Fabulous for a private wedding / function.  Staff are great and very professional. Food is fantastic, rooms are super spacious and beautiful  and the view incredible. The villa is immaculate and clean.  I would definitely  recommend them for a warm, relaxing and romantic getaway. Absolutely  loved it. I would give you 20 stars if I could.

A truly unforgettable stay at Tintswalo Boulders!

From the moment we booked, the experience was seamless. Charnell at head office made the reservation process effortless, and once we arrived, Charlone (apologies if I’ve misspelled it!) and the entire team made us feel at home with their warm hospitality. The staff were outstanding—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful in every detail.

We stayed in the Mayflower Suite, and it was possibly the largest and most beautifully appointed room we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The views were breathtaking, and the attention to detail in our stay was remarkable—from a personalized welcome letter and a penguin love poem to the careful awareness of dietary preferences.

My wife absolutely loved her spa massage, and I have to say—the Eggs Benedict at breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. Every meal felt fresh and intentional, adding to the overall experience.

One of the standout features was the private access walkway to the Boulders penguin boardwalk, giving us a peaceful, crowd-free way to enjoy the views. We also felt incredibly safe and comfortable, leaving our balcony doors open to the sound of the ocean.

A truly magical place that blends tranquility, luxury, and a genuine love for its surroundings. Can’t wait to return!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay!

This was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. We stayed in the Mayflower Suite, and it was simply glorious—extremely spacious and luxurious.

I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels, and this one has climbed straight to the top!

The staff? Five-star service all the way. I’m at a loss for words—just wow. Do yourself a favor and experience it for yourself!

Oh, and by the way, you get a private entrance leading directly to the penguins… an unforgettable touch!

Tintswalo Boulders was the BEST way to end our visit to South Africa.  It felt like they thought of everything (and more)!  We were lucky to arrive in time to enjoy their dinner service which is exclusive to their guests.  So good!  The views are incredible and the furnishings are all gorgeous.  Our room exceeded our expectations!  It was spacious and beautifully furnished.  We loved the electric blinds that made the room super dark for better sleep.  The dressing room and extended bathroom felt so luxurious.  We also had a private balcony with direct access to the hotel gate that leads to the boardwalk and the penguin colony.  Having the penguins so close was really special!  The staff all went above and beyond including Jayden, Chalone and Kirsty.  The breakfasts every morning were more than we expected and so delicious!  The chef(s) were wonderful.  We opted to book a massage our first day and we loved it so much, we booked one for our last day as well (don't miss out on a massage).  The location is perfect with an easy walk into town but Uber is also very reliable.  Don't hesitate to book this property.  You won't regret it and the experience will stay with you forever!

We are from Cape Town and stayed at Tintswalo for one night as part of a winter special offer. This establishment is highly recommended for a couple or family and is like home away from home. Each staff member was warm and inviting.

We loved that the chef and his staff were preparing for dinner when we arrived (open plan dining area and kitchen), filling the villa with delicious aromas! The 3-course dinner was superb and highly recommended! The establishment has a huge offering of drinks - available in the form of an honesty bar.

Our bedroom was spacious, with a lovely coffee bar and complimentary snacks. Under floor heating and heated towel rails were welcomed on the winter evening.

The boardwalk to the penguins is literally in front of the villa, and your set of room keys has a key to the gate, which opens onto the boardwalk. You can even watch the penguins from the lounge.
