Min familj och jag anlände till Grassy Park cirka 18:00 efter en 2 timmars bilresa från västkusten. Vi packar upp och cirka klockan 19.00 var laget hungrig. Vi beslutade sedan på grund av tid och jag vill inte gå och stå i en kö som vi kommer att ringa och samla. Ungefär klockan 19: 30 placerade jag min beställning via Nandos centrala callcenter och fick mitt beställningsnummer via mobiltelefon. Servicepersonalen försäkrade mig om att jag kan hämta min beställning cirka 20 minuter från restaurangen. Vid klockan 20: 20 och när jag tog en skärmdump av meddelandet informerades jag av kassören om att min beställning inte är klar. Detta är tekniskt sett 15 minuter efter den engagerade insamlingstiden. Jag begärde en enkel förklaring till förseningen men kassören kunde inte ge mig en. Jag får min beställning ca 20:30.

Vi var hungriga och bestämde oss för att besöka Nandos i Grassy Park för en snabb bit att äta. Vi anlände till 10. Kl 30 när de bara stänger kl 11. 00 pm, men personalen var redan mopping golv och vissa bord hade sina stolar på dem. Vi spenderar omkring R 270 på denna plats och beställde en hel kyckling med lite coleslaw och kryddig chips. Som vi var hungriga bestämde vi oss för att få en liten del av kycklinglever för 2 av oss. Det fanns bara en familj på 3 där vid tiden så inte alls upptagen för den här fredagskvällen. Tyvärr när vår mat kom fram fick det oss kalla och kycklinglevarna var lukevarma, inte en bra start. Allt var inte till Nandos vanliga god standard, tyvärr som även chipsen hade ingen sprinkel på dem som begärdes när vi beställde. Chips var en ganska liten del också. Min hälft av min kyckling var luke varm också, så vi skickade allt tillbaka, bortsett från coleslaw naturligtvis, eftersom vi inte var nöjda med denna måltid. De återvände vår samma kyckling efter ca 5 minuter som var plonked på grillen igen självklart och extra sås slobberd på den. Hittills var min heta extra het och mina partners kyckling skulle vara mild, som han kan hantera, men vid detta tillfälle för kryddig. Vi älskar både Nandos och jag för ett besök Nandos ofta, Storbritannien och SA och jag brukar inte skriva dåliga recensioner, men vid detta tillfälle var det olyckligt att vi fick uppleva detta. Personalen bryr sig inte alls. . . bortsett från kassören som tjänat oss, var hon vänlig och mycket hjälpsam. Det var mycket högt att prata på gång eftersom de verkade mer intresserade av städning än att betjäna kunder. Jag har aldrig haft service som denna någonsin på en Nandos restaurang och tyvärr kommer jag aldrig att besöka denna anläggning igen.

Nandos är en beprövad underbar restaurang som erbjuder portugisisk stilmat. Vi älskar det. Vi har besökt flera i Sydafrika och utomlands. Vi har aldrig blivit besvikna när vi älskar kryddor och på Nandos kan du ringa din krydda styrka. Vår enda en gång besvikelse var filialen i Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Flisen där var förmodligen det värsta vi har haft i den kända världen. SA chipsna är dock bra. Vår amerikanska gren av familjen är så kär i Nandos att när de besöker SA är deras första matstopp Nandos. Då när de underhåller beställer de Nandos takeaways. Vilken rekommendation. Tack Nandos för att vi konsekvent gör oss lyckliga. . .

När mamma är ute i matning kan tjejerna vara en syssla, men med Nando är det en skillnad. De försökte beställa från Tokai-filialen, men det verkar som att Mr Delivery finner vårt område för farligt, men levererar i entrén 3 hus borta. Så jag hade tjejerna ringde grenen i gräsmattan och på väg hem samlade beställningen. Butiken var tom klockan 9, men min beställning var klar och på att komma hem hade vi fortfarande en varm måltid så kudos till personalen för deras service. Allt var som beställt.
