Hur förstör man ryktet för det äldsta kaféet i Obz? En av de mest fruktansvärda mat och service någonsin . . tar de människor för idioter? Jag beställde ett glas vin (ville skämma bort mig själv med en bra R 85) men jag är inte dum och otur, jag kan mina viner. . de gav mig den billigaste vinnaren de hade utan att berätta för mig, eftersom de höll på att ta slut i lager. Jag tittade bara på färgen på vinet jag redan visste. Jag ringde servitören och bad honom visa mig flaskan. . . då var han tvungen att berätta sanningen. . de gav mig ett R 55 glas vin istället (och naturligtvis R 85 var redan på deras system). Maten var såå äcklig... Jag tog till och med fram tallrikar direkt till köket och bad dem alla att komma och ta en titt. . . då frågade jag: Ser det gott ut? De svarade alla: Nej, och det är vad vi ska äta? Jag sa åt chefen att behålla notan... Jag betalade inte för min mat och inte vinet heller. . . adjö ciao. . . aldrig mer!

Kycklingvingarna i detta fat har samma konstiga tomatsås över sig, inte brynt alls i princip tillagad och garnerad med tomatsås. Inga alternativ på öl. Vi hade en gratis frukostkupong. Efter många samtal fick äntligen en tid då Kupongen går ut den 30 september. Allt var dåligt från tjänsten , när jag ringde dem att säga vi där för frukost de sa nej vi kan inte komma eftersom det finns inget att göra frukost, jag var som men vi gjorde en bokning enligt voucher. Servitörens ansikte var ständigt på 5 över 9 serverade kallt kaffe ☕ min syster fick en smutsig blick när hon bad att värma sitt kaffe. Jag lämnade mitt kaffe efter en smak. De hade inte korv och gav extra baconutslag, och kolsvarta svampar som inte såg normala ut maten var riktigt dålig. Vilket slöseri med tid , kanske om vi hade betalat tjänsten och maten hade varit bättre. Obz du kommer aldrig se oss igen och vi kommer aldrig att hänvisa dig till någon.

Om jag hade kontrollerat recensionerna skulle jag aldrig ha gått... alla dåliga recensioner jag håller med. Välsmakande mat men beniga revben och ingen chef att ta klagomål, bara "vi kommer att ta det med leverantörerna". Servitrisen gjorde sitt bästa från till synes ingenting för om det är ledarskapet hon hade så kan vi säkert inte förvänta oss mycket av henne. Om kuponger som är problemen sluta posta dem eftersom du behandlar kupong människor som om de inte kommer att betala. . . Vi gick därifrån hungriga, vi ville beställa mer bara för att fylla på men bestämde oss för att inte göra det för vad kunde vara bättre?

Älskar atmosfären, personalen där är otroligt vänliga och engagerande. Maten är gudomlig; rekommenderar starkt sina hamburgare. Det har den Cape Townian vibe till det. Om du går ut på ett datum, är det en fast plats att gå till; stort utbud av mat och dryck och en mycket avkopplande atmosfär.

Kan inte ens beskriva för dig hur fantastiskt maten är hos Obz. Vi kom hela vägen från U. K. och vi är inte besvikna på det minsta. Varje foto vi hade lusted efter var i verkligheten en dröm som kom i uppfyllelse. Sumac calamari är absolut gudomlig. Aldrig haft någonting liknande det innan. Hubbie hade krispiga ravioli att börja? och vi måste naturligtvis ha Obzession pizza och crunchy munchy hamburgare (rent baserat på munnen vattning bilder vi hade sett!). Helt fantastiskt. Smakkombinationerna här är att dö för. Bra val av drycker och absolut högklassig personal. Tack hörni!

Detta var den perfekta platsen att träffa en grupp vänner innan Cape Town Cycle Tour - de ville ha pizza och hantverk öl. Tadahhhh! Booth sittplatser gör för gemytlig atmosfär. Vi hade pizza som såg läckra och fläskrester revben som inte var störst - kan ha varit nötkött, eftersom de inte var saftiga och saftiga som fläsk revben. Men kommer definitivt tillbaka. Bra personal också.
