The I stayed in wasn't as comfortable and had a weird smell. Bathroom floor was constantly wet. But the amenities on the premises made up for it.
The spa was really good for my soul. The service was also excellent. Love that the welcome drink was non alcoholic.
The mineral pools were so relaxing and love the variety of the temperatures.
Overall experience was great. Would come back as a day visitor and definitely visit the spa again

Upon arriving on time for check in, you will be left outside with your 12 person family including 2 busy toddlers with all your bags and snacks on the side of the road in their parking lot.
Check in was an absolute nightmare, we were asked to wait 1.5hrs as the 3 rooms we’d booked were not ready. There were quite a few guests in the same boat as us.
All management offers is a late checkout which is no compensation for the terrible start to your family vacation.
The gardens and pool area is wonderful for busy children. The hot springs really need a CLEAN and bit of an upgrade. The hot springs are exactly the same as 10y ago when we were there. Perhaps allow for better traffic flow.
The games room at the casino was ok.
Breakfast was on point as always, perhaps during the busy season they should have more people frying eggs, more coffee machines.
Stay was okay.

Beautiful property and location with comfortable and clean rooms. Had a room with a balcony that offered a great view.  The couch in the room needs some cleaning and not particularly a big fan of a in-bath shower, but that’s a personal preference. The breakfast room and offering could be better if compared to rest of the property’s standards. Overall great, relaxing stay.

I have been coming to Caledon hotel for over 15 years and each time I come back the rooms are looking even more bleak than the last 😓. Garden outside is beautifully kept, but rock pools have much algae on so be sure to wear old swimsuits as this does stain swimwear, doesn’t seem as though it’s too important to clean as it’s “rock mineral pools”. The rooms are horrible honestly my son that is 13 could not even stand under this shower that was in a bath. Rooms are in serious need of upgrades!!. In the past early mornings they would come and wipe down the outside pool seating chairs that was yours to enjoy now it’s so filthy with mould n bird poop you wouldn’t even want to throw your towel over it. When rooms were made to tidy,bedding was just basically pulled straight.beautiful place for day visit n casino other than that would not recommend staying over. The buffet breakfast between 9-10 am peak hour gets insane,by now you would think they could handle the influx of years of accommodation,but fails tremendously. Very disappointing Caledon Hotel 👎

Family loved it, not sure if it's possible to clean the slimy mossy bottoms of the pools/ponds seeing as it's natural mineral waters, i assume it might not be possible. Luckily i packed in my aqua shoes, because i am a bit squeamish. I would love to bring the older family members but I'm afraid they won't be able to walk up those stairs, if possible to make it wheelchair accessible or provide a cart service for the elderly who cannot walk up there, that would be amazing, then they could also benefit from the mineral water.
