The Tamu Hotel Koh rong is definitely the place you want to be, if you are looking for some adventure, calm and beauty. Actually it has everything to attract you. This is for me the perfect spot to reconnect with nature and especially to move away from the bustling city. Because the hotel is located in island, it’s really peaceful and you can’t be bothered but maybe, only with a variety of species around, that you can hear, that are harmless. On the contrary, their sounds are really helpful if you’re doing insomnia. This is not a place dedicated to survival instead its virtue is to help you to heal from stress, to relax  and enjoy your time there.

After taking a boat and arrive at the hotel, you will be serve a refreshing drink from your journey on the sea.
For my stay I choose the tent option. Camping basically is not for everyone. But the hotel propose deluxe tent which guarantee you that is well furnish and that you have at your disposal everything you need. Something actually left me a great impression which is the bathroom and the shower outside. This seems to be quite awkward but you easily get used to it after one try and can’t get over it.

Another favorite thing is the direct access to the beach with sunbed that was so comfy, you can lay down the entire day this is clearly not a problem.
By the way even though it’s hot everyday the temperature cools down with palms trees around that protected you from the sun and bring some winds to you.

Finally, we were so welcome by the staff personal both and Cambodian and foreigner. A young woman who work there as she was doing her internship in management and hospitality, left me a great impression on how to welcome costumers.

We can only warmly recommend the hotel from start to finish.
It starts with the nice staff, whether front office manager, housekeeping or the waiters in the restaurant, everyone is very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty. The additional dishes besides the selection at the buffet were also very good and fresh.

We loved the idea of using the tents as rooms. Of course, you should be prepared to encounter a gecko, frog or snail in the bathroom, after all, you are also booking a nature experience here!

The cocktails are also very good, happy hour from 4-6 can only be recommended.

The white beach was always clean and well maintained, as was the entire resort!

If I were to come to Koh Rong again, I would check in here again!

We stayed here around a week with my girlfriend and had an experience with sea front, sea view and jungle tents. All those tents were very good and even jungle tent is not far away from the sea nor cafeteria.

We liked very much the calmness of the place. Beautiful sea and the beach. Friendly prices and good food in the cafeteria, also very friendly staff, especially Chantrea with his beautiful soul :)

We absolutely had relaxing time there and we are very happy with it. We strongly recommend.

Staff is awesome in general, very friendly and nice people. I had a medical emergency and all of the staff including the owner, were very helpful and available. They personally took care of me, which practically and also mentally helped a lot. I would like to thank the owner Alex and all the staff for their assistance. I will never forget that.

What a great surprise !
Everything is great in this hotel. Delicious food and tasty drinks.
Peaceful pool with beautiful jungle environment, and the beach is gorgeous. White sand and clear water.
Perfect place for relaxing and disconnecting from work and big cities.
Lovely and super friendly staff who can arrange anything for you from A to Z. They have a speedboat that pick you ups from Sihanoukville pier directly to the stands of the resort. How nice !
The rooms are spacious and modern, and there's everything you need in it.
I had the chance to meet Raphael, the Hotel Manager, who was of great assistance and very professional.
I had an amazing time at Tamu and will definitely return there !

Went there with my friend, felt like we were on a honeymoon, this part of the island was somehow quiet with nothing to do much in the night time, would be ideally for couple who want quiet time. Would be a bit boring for youngsters or adults in their 20-30.
