It was like paradise. Our family loved everything about it - the food, the staff and of course the amazing setting.
We had the treat of the starlight cinema experience which our children absolutely loved!
The beach is beautiful and many hours were spent snorkelling, making sandcastles and memories.

Koh Russey Resort is beyond paradise. We spent 3 nights here and couldn’t wish for a better ending to our trip to Cambodia.

From the moment we arrived at the pier lounge we felt incredibly welcome. We arrived and were brought to the island on a 15 min boat ride where the staff were waiting for us and gave us a personal welcome.

The resort is located on a private island so you have the beach practically to yourself.

There is not much to do on the island but the whole point is to relax and do nothing. There are paddleboards and kayaks to use
and snorkel equipment is available.

There are two restaurants: one is on the beach and has a more casual atmosphere. The restaurant serves western and Asian food which was delicious.
The other more formal restaurant is located inside and offers a sophisticated menu selection.

What sets this resort apart is the attention to detail. The staff were attentive in providing us with complementary chilled water when we were lounging by the pool and they even gave us some small treats in the room after dinner.

If I could pick a minor point of critique is that the pool is very warm so it’s not really refreshing to take a dip on a warm day.

We booked our stay well in advance and were really looking forward to our stay. I’m glad to say it lived up to the hype. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone staying in Cambodia and looking to indulge in a bit of luxury.

Lost at the highest level. Feels like Robinson on his own island. Plenty of space and perfect conditions. I was surprised that I wasn't asked to order every 30 minutes by the service, as is the case on many other luxury islands. Simply unobtrusive and always looking after the guests. This hotel really is still an insider tip.

The gym has two rooms: one equipped with machines and dumbbells (up to 20kg), two treadmills, one bike, one cross-trainer, one rower, and two adjustable benches. There is also a yoga studio for training, yoga, and meditation. The facilities are clean, air-conditioned, and well-maintained, ideal for fitness enthusiasts.

**Dining Options:**
The food was delicious, with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients. The resort has two restaurants, operating alternately or together based on demand. Prices for food and drinks are higher on an island since everything must be transported there, so adjust expectations accordingly.

**WiFi and Remote Work Suitability:**
WiFi coverage across the resort was available but sometimes slow, making it unsuitable for remote work videoconferences. Mobifone had no reception on the island, but the tranquil setting encouraged us to disconnect and enjoy the environment.

**Service Quality:**
The service quality, especially in food and beverage, is exceptional. The staff are highly attentive, from setting tables perfectly to providing seamless service. Even trainees performed at a professional level. Housekeeping excelled in noticing small details that enhanced our stay. Preferences, such as replenishing cotton swabs or scheduling turndown service during dinner, were quickly noted and remembered. These thoughtful touches made the experience unforgettable.

This resort is ideal for those prioritizing peace and quiet. The private beach and adult-oriented atmosphere provide a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.
