Food is delicious and hearty! Their zhajiangmian is wonderful, not too salty and has a good amount of heat chunks inside. It comes with a variety of 6 veggies you can put in your noodles - when I went, there was pink radish, cucumber, soybeans, celery, spring onion and cabbage.

I highly recommend also ordering the meatball and tofu soup/broth, it helps balance out the richness of the noodles.

If you're feeling like dessert as well, then get the Snow Fairy Peach Almond Curd, it's as magical as it sounds. The curd is housed within a white chocolate shell (REAL white chocolate, not that fake, tooth aching sweet candy sugar thing some other places use) and the curd has delicate flavours of almond and milk cream. Super light, and not too sweet. I'd come back just for this.

You order by scanning a QR code and pay online, however everything is in Mandarin. If you don't want to order just off the photos, you can do what I did and screenshot and translate everything in the google translate app.

Might come back to try the Peking roast duck as well...

Les quartiers traditionnels encore debout à Pékin se font de plus en plus rares. Celui-ci vaut vraiment le détour pour plusieurs raisons, la possibilité d'y trouver des vrais souvenirs authentiques dans les différentes boutiques du quartier des antiquaires, des restos et café très sympathiques car le quartier est en pleine rénovation par la jeunesse aisée de Pékin.

The traditional neighborhoods still standing in Beijing are becoming increasingly rare. This one is really worth the detour for several reasons, the possibility of finding real authentic souvenirs in the different shops of the antique district, very nice restaurants and cafes because the district is being completely renovated by the wealthy youth of Beijing.
