Exceptional food, drinks and service for a very reasonable price. I cannot decide what my favourite dish was as everything we ate was so delicious, from the amouse bouche to the dessert, every dish was outstanding. The sommelier recommended a very nice wine to go with our meal. Service was top notch, except for the girl who removed some cutlery from the table without asking, when we had not yet finished our main courses. The atmosphere was great and lots of people were celebrating birthdays there. All in all a great night out.

We came to this michelin starred french brasserie on the bund for lunch. Arriving at 11:30 am when it opens we were seated at a premium corner table. The view of the river and oriental pearl was splendid and the service was quick and attentive.

I selected the 2 course meal (entree and dessert) and ordered the australian angus prime rib. It was prepared medium rare with a honey pepper crust and au jus. I cut it with a fork, it was tender and delicious. It was a standard portion size and came with seasoned salt, house made sour cream and mustard on the side. My lunch mates had lamb chops (tender with a nicely complimenting sauce) and sea bass (moist, crispy skin, generous portion). The foie gras was ordered as an appetizer and it had a whipped texture with dried fruit (very nice).
I had the cream puff dessert which was good sized, 2 soft cookies separated by a cream center and topped with meringue. It was exquisite and left me quite full.
I appreciated the quiet ambience allowing for normal conversation. The prices were in line with what I would expect to pay in the US. Definitely worth a return visit.

Beautiful place with the best terrace and view to the Oriental Pearl and modern buildings surrounding the tower. The food is exquisite, with a perfect presentation and lots of fun on flavors and mixes. Wine Pairing super recommended. Located at the bund, Architecture and decor is simply fabulous. Can’t miss this place when you visit Shanghai.
