It is the most affordable 2 Michelin stars price that I have ever been. The food is nice and service is fantastic. It is not as packed as I expected tho. I come around 6pm and I don’t have to wait. I ordered more but didn’t take a picture. I recommend that if anyone pass by in Shanghai, definitely worth trying here.

Worth every single RMB spent.
We visited the restaurant on Sunday evening without making a reservation and there was a table for us with no wait. The staff are professional with a very good service mind. We took an "A" testing course that costs us around 300 RMB for 8 dishes and it is worth the price we paid for 2 Michelin stars restaurant.

Most diners will probably give this restaurant 5 stars, but they do not understand that the restaurant is far from a 2 star michelin star (the restaurant probably deserves to be an underwhelming 1 star michelin, that I can understand).

The food is good, but not anything special. They are quite photogenic too.

However, the SERVICE is far from good. 20 minutes into dining, that is when we were served water. This is after two dishes were served to our table.

We came to this michelin starred cantonese restaurant for it's stellar dim sum and were not disappointed. In particular the spicey tofu had a crispy exterior contrasting nicely with the creamy interior, the fried pork rib had a sweet-savory tangerine crust, and the fried green beans and pork were smokey and good. I don't normally care for seafood but really enjoyed the prawns on toast. We all loved the barbecue pork puffs. The baked bun with melted egg yolk custard erupted like a lava cake on first bite and was delicious. The chilled mango spago pearls soup was a refreshing palate cleanser to end the meal.
The decor was stylish and service attentive (bringing me wet naps and even plastic gloves unbidden). The menu was listed in english and mandarin with the chef's recommendations noted. We had a reservation this saturday night and every table was filled. I noticed one couple walk in and be turned away. The moderate prices were welcome for a restaurant of this high caliber.
