Out of all the hotels in the world, this was my favourite hotel to stay at when I was a flight attendant. It is an older style but still has a classic, elegant feel to it. The room service was also really great- I still crave the lamb cutlets with bernaise sauce and fries. I really miss staying here.

This is my first stay at a Four Seasons and I've heard about how luxurious these hotels are and this meets and then some.  The lobby layout beautifully appointed and easy to get around.  The staff are always very cordial and attentive.  The room I stayed in was roomy with a full size bath, L couch lounging area and a desk.  Room lighting was good once you figure out that switch controls what light.  Panoramic views of the Shanghai cityscape are fine when not too overcast.

Nice hotel in a good location. The rooms are large and in good condition.
Breakfast is served on the ground floor and the selection is small for the western section, Chinese section has more choice.
The standard of service is not quite as good as other properties in the region but they are trying.

The hotel is lovely and modern. Breakfast buffet has a great variety of options. The staff is really on point and polite with helpful suggestions and English speaking ability for the foreign traveler.

The location is in the center of city. Got good service from hotel staffs. But, the security person needs a better training with manner. You can find fast food in walking distance. Dollar by dollar, you can find better deal in nearby area.
