A Shanghai icon.  It’s been around for ages.  Good  noodle with peanut butter sauce.  Order it with the fried pork chop.  The beef soup is also recommended as it will wash the noodle down well.

First time trying majang mein (sesame paste noodles). It was really tasty. The gravy was rich and thick and it coats the noodles. Every bite was just packed with umami. Ordered the beef noodles and pork chop as well, which were both delicious on their own. But the real star was the sesame paste noodles.

Food is really not bad. We went on a weekday, waited 15 minutes for a table. The place can be hectic when crowded. Food came pretty fast. Would recommend to order some soup to go along as it can be slightly hard to swallow due to the peanut paste. Overall recommended.
