We shared a plate of crab roe noodles and dumplings between us 2 ladies and it was enough. The noodles came with tasty side dishes. The restaurant also serves a really good brown sugar red date tea which you help yourself to - perfect for the weather. Noodles and dumplings were both good and flavourful. Service was attentive though the cashier was slightly impatient with us as we took some time to read the menu and asked questions. We were confused about the "crab powder dumplings" but it turns out the dumplings do contain a little crab meat mixed with pork. We came about 11am and we were glad we did as the restaurant filled up and there was a queue by noon.

Taste is so rich, staff will offer to mix for you, meanwhile also will guide you carefully how to enjoy the noodle, it also come with vinegar which for just in case the noodle become cold it might change taste and we can mix with vinegar hence with another taste.

One of the best dishes ever conceived. It tasted even purer than fresh uni and there was no fishiness present. I didn't add the vinegar in and used it like a dip to avoid diluting the flavor of the crab. If you like seafood it is impossible to dislike these noodles.

I don't imagine you can find crab roe noodles like this in other countries so it's a must-try while in Shanghai.

The classic soup dumplings (xiao long bao) are equally delicious, with delicate skins holding a flavourful broth and juicy pork filling.

We also ordered crab roe soup dumplings, which arrived a bit later than the other items. If you're ordering the crab roe noodles, opt for the traditional xiao long bao instead. The combination of both crab roe noodles and crab roe soup dumplings can be a bit too rich and overwhelming.

As a popular spot, be prepared for a wait to get a table, especially during peak dining hours. However, once seated, the service was surprisingly prompt and efficient as our food arrived quickly.

Do note that they collect payment upfront before they show you to your table. So it's good to decide what items you're ordering while you're still in the queue.
