選擇搭乘電瓶車上山，步行至天台往龍門整段路需要爬3.40分鐘，且山上易下雨階梯容易濕滑，老人小孩要多注意，下山採用索道方式，再接電瓶車下山，天氣晴時風景不錯，索道速度慢慢的，不用太害怕。

西山龍門景區位於西山頂部，羅漢峰的懸崖峭壁上，從龍門可沿棧道到達山頂，但那狹窄的棧道，卻僅容兩人來回擦肩側身而過。 龍門迂迴棧道的開鑿，不僅增加了龍門出口，使遊客如流水般暢通無阻，增加了安全感，而且增加了新的風景遊覽點。

From Longmen, you can reach the top of the mountain along the plank road, but the narrow plank road can only allow two people to pass back and forth. 必須搭小索道露天纜車上山，到達索道站點可步行至山頂凌虛閣，也可以沿崖邊步道走至龍門景點，值得一遊
