You don't see many Yue fei temples around and this one have his tomb. A true figure of Chinese values that the young need to learn about. It's not a large place but lots of information about Yue fei, so spend an hour or so here to embody yourself with wisdom and spirit. Make this visit part of your trip in xihu lake! After that, hop on to leifeng pagoda or vice versa.

Yue Fei was one of ancient china's most revered warriors and this is a temple to honor his name. Notable at this temple are the shrines dedicated to him, his son, and his loyal subordinates, as well as his tomb, in front of which there are 2 kneeling statues of his enemies.

If you are not interested in history there are also a few gardens here that are very pretty, especially when the cherry blossoms sprout in springtime.

岳王庙 is a historical tomb site of a Southern Song dynasty General 岳飞 and his elder son 岳云 who died tragically by a treacherous plot of some evil court officials. A good place to learn about a war hero of classical Chinese history.
尽忠报国 are the famous words that were tattooed on his backs by his mother when he was young as a reminder to serve the country with loyalty and honour.
"天日昭昭，天日昭昭" are the famous last words of General 岳飞 before his death.
