Haven’t had Indian food for a few years and I was glad that my first Indian cuisine come back was Leela. We tried the $988 tasting menu. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Thank you for giving me and my friend a wonderful night!

Had a tasting menu with three other friends. It was a blast, very good. Our favourite was the coconut bass. The curry was a second favourite.

Nice staff too. Really polite. Would definitely come again.

One of my favorite meals I've ever tasted. I tried the experience menu and loved every single item that came out. By the time I got to the main biryani dish, I had to take much of it with me because the portion is very generous. Chef Manav Tuli is an expert and artist, everything was prepared so thoroughly and the presentation and plating was phenomenal. I was savoring everything I tried.  Chef Manav even came around to introduce himself and greet guests which was an amazing personal touch. The team that helped along the way were also all professional and attentive. I didn't have wine, but they have an extensive list. Both cocktails I tried were ok and simple, but the food is so so good and is the reason you visit here.

Leela was operated by ex-chef from Michelin-starred restaurant “CHAAT”! Good quality of food, especially so impressed with the Tandoori Beef Chop, the meat was so tender and soft! Besides, it was our first time trying Peshwari Naan, which was made with raisin, almond and coconut. It was a main dish, tasted slightly sweet, matched with the smoked butter chicken anyways! You have to save space for dessert, good to go for a Masala Chai with Baked Saffron Kheer with pistachio cake! The dinner was so satisfying!

The charming interior resembled "it's a small world" in Disneyland, but the experience quickly soured. Service was neglectful, with distracting terrace lighting. The boneless chicken wings were overly sweet and dry, lacking juiciness. The tandoori mixed grill platter lacked variety and quality, especially the dry pork ribs. The Saoji Lamb Shank was forgettable, and the Bone Marrow Biryani lacked marrow and was disappointing. The service declined further as staff focused on Rosewood Hotel. The masala chai was overly sweet, with unmelted sugar. In conclusion, Leela falls short compared to CHAAT, offering poor value for money at HKD934 without alcohol.
