One of the best food near HKU exit B, the food is sometimes inconsistent but the flavour is always above average

Reliable and affordable lunch option near HKU. Went here for so many times for lunch, and they never disappoint! Barrel rice set is filling, spicy, generous with the meat and comes with soft drink. My favourites are pork with bamboo shoot, pork with green pepper and beef with cumin. You can ask for non-spicy as well. Can be a bit oily, but the tea they serve helps with the heatiness. If you are a student they will waive the 10% service charge!

Such a delicious experience! The food was superbly made, restaurant was clean and service was fast.

There were packed with people but no booking and we got a table straight away 😍

Definitely worth your money for the portion. I would highly recommend anyone that want to try Hunan / super spicy meal in HK.
