Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant hidden in Happy Valley. We went there for a casual dinner and it was really a joy. Everything we tried was just great, I particularly enjoyed their giant razor clams and the fish stew.
Will revisit this place for sure:)

This place definitely worths our 20min walk.  Successfully impressed all of us as the dishes all taste soooo good with such a fair price. I rarely have Shun Tuk cuisine so some dishes are quite interesting to me like the use strawberry for sweet sour pork and chicken wing wrap with HK style sausage and sticky rice. Staff are very welcoming and they know the food well. So just ask them for recommendation if you don’t know what to order.

5 stars for food, service & atmosphere! If you are looking for a nice cantonese resto to enjoy with your friends this is a place to go. I like how i can make a reservation in advance so i don’t waste a minute of my time waiting in a queue:) definitely going back!

If I can only eat at one place in Hong Kong, this will be it. A hole-in-wall setup, but offers the freshest and most authentic Cantonese cuisine. After all it has been a Michelin 1-star place for ages, the standard is definitely there. Do not expect fine dining atmosphere and service, but it's homely and warm. The owner is very generous and welcoming. When I was still working in Hong Kong, it became almost a must to dine there at least once a week with friends. Best steamed fish I have had, lotus pancake, sweet sour pork, lobster noodle, crispy fried chicken with garlic, etc.. I miss so many of their dishes. Wine list is of good value, but you are also welcome to bring your own bottles. If you go there frequent enough, I am sure the boss can make a few off the menu dishes for you ;)

We were told this restaurant was a local institution for good food, so we decided to give it a try when we were in the area.   We came across probably the rudest server we met in Hong Kong.  She was literally yelling at us for no reason until I yelled back at her.  She then calmed down afterwards.  We ordered four dishes, all pretty average at best, quality and presentation no different from cha-chan-ting, with the bill coming to about $850 !  We were there on a Sunday lunchtime, and all other diners appear to be tourists coming for the reputation, not a single Cantonese speaking local.  Avoid !!!
