old school Swiss restaurant that's been here many years. Pretty authentic swiss food (for what you can get in HK).

Cheese fondue is staple and uses good cheese. We ordered the recommended fondue with Steak. TBH the steak does not really match the cheese, suggest chicken or no beef. Potatoes were delicious. The Fried veal + pork knuckle was so very tasty. the portions are quite large so it was a lot of food for 4 people

Recently, our dining experience at the Swiss restaurant left us feeling disappointed.

Our booking was at 6:30 PM and arrived on time. We handed a cake to the waiter, informing her that we would be eating later. However, we waited a long time without any waiter coming to take our order. Despite repeatedly asking the staff present, they all indicated that they would come by shortly, some even tried to ignore us. Ultimately, we waited 15 to 20 minutes before someone finally came to take our order.

Our drinks and first dishes (baked snails and onion soup) were served at 7:05 PM, but shortly after, they placed the cheese fondue burner on our table. What was particularly confusing was that the waiter lit the burner but failed to bring out the cheese pot, leaving it to burn dry for nearly 20 minutes, which was quite concerning. The cheese fondue was officially served at 7:28 PM, while the pork ribs and lamb rack were not delivered until 7:46 PM, which was an unacceptably slow pace.

To make matters worse, at 8:00 PM, a male waiter named Gordon suddenly asked us to settle the bill, claiming that we could only use the table until 8:00 PM. This had not been communicated to us during the reservation or seating process. We explained that we still had cake left to eat and noticed that there were many empty tables around. His attitude was very rude, even blaming us for eating too slowly and insisting that we pay the bill. We requested to finish our cake before settling the bill, but he insisted that we eat within 5 minutes and demanded a cake-cutting fee, which felt unreasonable.

Additionally, the service from other staff was also slow and lacked initiative. Beyond serving food and clearing tables, there was hardly any additional service provided. What was even more alarming was that one piece of the pork ribs was pink, indicating it was undercooked, raising concerns about food safety.

In summary, this dining experience at the Swiss restaurant was disappointing. Not recommended.

Great lunch selection with Swiss/continental influence. The cheese fondue are very authentic, and we also enjoyed the calf liver dish a lot.

The food was good but I felt deeply disappointed by their services. We were never told there’s a time limit for dining until the moment the manager asked us to pay the bill (by that time our self-brought cake wasn’t even served). The manager told us that because we ate too slowly so we have to pay and leave immediately, without taking note that we had been waiting for at least 15mins to place our orders, and two dishes were served merely 15mins before their return table time. He even demanded us to finish the cake within 5 mins if we insisted to have the cake in their restaurant. There were plenty of empty tables around so I didn’t quite understand why the manager responded in such a rude way. I really hope the team could address this issue and the same will not happen again. Thank you.
