Review for Parikrama Restaurant

I recently visited Parikrama with high expectations, given its unique concept and location. Unfortunately, my experience fell short.

The food was quite average—nothing exceptional in terms of taste or presentation. For the price point, I expected much better quality and flavor.

What truly dampened the experience was the behavior of the manager. They were unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which left a bad impression. Good hospitality is a key part of dining out, and this was seriously lacking.

While the ambiance might attract some, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless improvements are made in both food quality and customer service.

The revolving platform allows you to fully enjoy the Dheli sunset from above and in all directions. Although the restaurant is a bit old, it was overall pretty clean and the service was good.
I only had beers and wontos  appetizer but they were very tasty.

I visited this place the second time. the last time was two yeras back.. I had liked it very much, but this time not so much. First of all, food was completely ordinary and expensive. We ordered Aglio Olio Pasta, which was very watery and soggy. Beverages were too sweet. Only good thing was pad thai noodles, this particular dish was perfect. Now come to ambience, their USP is revolving place. Ok good, but they don't improve interiors. Same old chairs and tables and nothing asthetic. New restaurants out there are offering beautiful ambinece now a days. Staff behaviour was like- this place runs by itself, why do anything. We ordered dimsums for starters but it was served after we finished our main course meal...they were not even well dressed or well behaved. I won't recommend this restaurant at this kind of menu price. We can get much better for this price. But definitely one can visit at least once for the revolving view of Central Delhi.

One of the best places to spend time & have good food with your family or friends. I had a nice experience recently there.
Initially I was doubtful about the quality of the food after reading other reviews. But after trying it, I can say that it is good. Prices are a bit on a higher side - but not very high. For a normal North Indian lunch, you can expect somewhere between 600 to 800 Rs per person.
Over all, it's quite good and a must try. You should go when the weather is clear so that you can enjoy most of the views.

A few Cons : ( which must be improved by the restaurant) :-

1) The behaviour of the security guards is good but the way they keep on saluting for the sake of a tip - is something which should not be the way it is.

2) The glasses of the restaurant should be cleaned a bit.

The food was ok and the ambience was good. What I did not like is the way they ask for tips. While paying the bill the person asked to add tips in the total bill. So I asked home to add ₹30/-extra. The waiter got pissed and took only the billed amount and threw the card on the table and moved away. He wanted more tips. Also the lift operator and the main door entry security person. Looks like they are also used for begging for money.
