Absolutely my favourite yoga school ever! The space itself is really relaxing, lots of green space, nice shalas, nice cafes, good food, lots of place to chill. Classes & teachers are top of the top and you can experience so many different kinds of yoga, mediation, breath work. I spent most of my time at Paul’s and Byron’s classes, and literally loved them❤️ but there are also so many other great teachers. I will really miss this place.

Yoga Barn is without a doubt one of my favourite places in the world. Kept returning to Bali for Yoga Barn after discovering it about 5 years ago and it has now become a year end ritual of yoga and connection.

I don’t understand some of the negative reviews here but maybe I’m biased and don’t see much negatives given my love for the vibe, energy and the skill of the teachers at Yoga Barn. The extent of yoga and self development classes available here is unbeatable and there is a reason they attract some of the best teachers. Sure, some classes and activities may seem commercial, but you can choose to not participate in these activities 🙃.
I feel lucky to participate in classes taken by Tina Nance, Byron, Chris Fox, Paul to name a few. The classes are crowded because these are phenomenal teachers who have mastered their skill - a little discomfort of narrowly spaced out yoga mats is meaningless. Everyone is usually respectful of space.

I do hope the main shower area is revamped soon- hopefully its on the list of improvements taking place currently at Yoga Barn 😇

It was perfect for my 35 hours in Ubud and wanting to do a mini retreat. It was so convenient to stay at Yoga Barn itself so I could try out a variety of classes and rest/change in my room in between. The main Ubud town is also very close by. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast vouchers were also included for 1 meal and 1 drink each morning.  The classes were great, challenging but still doable for beginners and the different spaces were gorgeous. I managed to squeeze in a massage as well which was amazing. Everyone was friendly and approachable. Overall, definitely recommended.

Was here for my yoga class on the New Year’s Day. Glad they open on first come first serve basis so I managed to get a spot for myself. You need to get there an hour before if you’re new and 30min earlier if you’re a returning student. I absolutely loved the gentle yoga stretch and the ambience. The toilets were clean and the yoga mats, eye pillow, bolsters, etc are all provided there itself. The garden cafe attached to it is so lively. They’ve Indian buffet on every Thursday evenings.
Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. I went there again on the 2nd and o eat more cake haha

Yoga Barn is a big business. They offer a lot of interesting courses all year round. They have a juice bar and a restaurant. However, the courses are crowded with too many people, and the atmosphere suffers because of it. I took some courses, but I couldn’t really warm up to the place. The teachers are very good, though.
