The path to Bingin Beach isn’t the most pleasant. You have to climb down multiple stairs, navigate through a narrow street that isn’t very clean, and there are open wires nearby. It’s also worth mentioning that the sea’s surface has many rocks, some of which are sharp—my husband even cut his foot a little. The beach itself is quite crowded, leaving little space to lay down a towel.

However, the view of the cliffs and the sand on the beach are lovely. The beach is popular with surfers, as it’s quite wavy, so you can definitely surf here. There are also a few bars where you can grab a drink, which is great. Overall, we enjoyed spending a few hours at the beach, taking in the view, and were very happy to return to our private villa’s pool.

Bingin Beach, often described as a hidden gem, is surprisingly easy to reach. Contrary to many other reviews, the path is well-marked, and you just need to follow the signs. The path is narrow and tight, and at the end, there are stairs that take about five minutes to walk down to the beach.

The beach itself is okay but nothing special. It’s not particularly wide and has a few accommodations and restaurants. You can rent umbrellas with bean bags for 100,000 IDR.

We visited the beach during low tide. The water is easily accessible, but there is little sand in the water, so water shoes are recommended.

Beautiful beach but nearly no protection from the sun, barely any breeze and the waves are insane. I definitely do not recommend this place for kids. The beach was too hot for me, I prefer Padang Padang beach. Many many stairs to get up/down to get to the beach as well. No disability access available .

Many foreign tourists in this beach, very good for sunset. A bit difficult to access, but it is worth the visit

There’s a bit of work to find this beach.  Thankfully google gets you close and some signs down a long corridor lead the way.  Fantastic place to see the sunset as well as some great waves.  Enjoy the beach and remember to bring some reef shoes as the rocks and coral are quite sharp.
