Amazing food and great ambient at Alchemy Cafe. situated in across of the Alchemy yoga and wellness centre, it is perfect to enjoy a meal after a yoga class (or any other time!). The menu is also mostly gluten free.

I had the raw mushrooms and spinach pizza which was delicious. I also had the banoffee pie which was tasty and felt light and healthy.

Downstairs the cafe has more of a traditional setup with tables, but upstairs is set up with loungers perfect for a relaxing after a yoga class (or just chilling there and working).

A must visit in Ubud for vegan/vegetarian and gluten free foodies.

This restaurant was probably the most boring one I’ve eaten not going to lie. The food was bland and has a lack of flavour, the ice cream doesn’t have any taste of ice cream. It taste like ice water but soft like vanilla ice cream. The peanuts and nuts and hazel nuts whatever are disgusting and bitter. The actual salad was not even salad, you know those little packets of salad that the people put on the streets to pay respect to their gods, yeah that salad looked like that and tasted like nothing and I don’t wanna bite into water. Food and everything was expensive. It’s also hells goofy that the restaurant is vegan only, next to a retreat, I get it, but nah.

If the price doesn't put you off compared to other options throughout South East Asia, it's comparable to other excellent vegan restaurants in Ubud. I would place is at THE vegan restaurant of Ubud, with I Am Vegan Babe behind it. Great food, nice ambiance, fantastic staff that are very accommodating to changing out parts of meals and helping with allergies. The place is a little bit trendy but the food and service don't disappoint and should be worth your time and money to go.

Do it! Try it! I started my day with the zucchini pasta every morning for three days. the pasta was served cold, with the sun-dried tomatoes adding a fruity richness, perfectly balanced by the fresh mint and other herbs. the nutty aroma of the vegan cheese tied everything together beautifully. just look at the way I inhaled it, absolutely delicious
