På en promenad förbi såg jag Babi Guling på menyn, så vi ordnade för dem att hämta oss till middag. Vi tog väl hand om eftersom vi var ensamma i restaurangen. På musiknatt fylls platsen. Restaurangen är ganska attraktiv i balinesisk stil. Stekgrisen var vackert prsented med två fantastiska sambals och skivade Bali-grönsaker och ris. Allt bra men grisen var lite mager och torr. Min fru hade en mahi mahi fisk curry som se sa var läcker, och hon är mycket speciellt om fisk. Om du vill att Babi Guling beställer det dagen innan. Varken billig eller dyr.

Vi var här förra veckan och åkte hit två gånger under vår vistelse. Vi tittade på bandet och sjöng även med dem. Cocktailerna är fantastiska och maten är fantastisk. Personalen och fantastisk och kommer att organisera en taxi för att ta dig tillbaka till hotellet gratis. (vi tippade föraren) Kycklingsnitzeln var fantastisk. Vi kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka igen.

Vilken fantastisk plats, vi är här många gånger och älskade det varje gång. Maten var riktigt trevlig. Den vänliga personalen var underbar och bandet, de var fantastiska. Efter en dålig upplevelse på vår resort till middag på den första natten sökte vi efter ett bra ställe att äta. Vi hittade denna restaurang och de kom och plockade oss upp till middag och tog oss tillbaka igen efter middagen. Denna plats var en stor Sök, personalen mycket vänlig, maten stor och läckra cocktails. Vi var inte rusade när som helst och kunde bara koppla av och lyssna på musiken och njuta av oss själva. Vi bokade det igen för nästa natt eftersom det var så bra. Vi fick höra att det skulle bli levande musik nästa natt, men tyvärr lämnade vi nästa morgon så missade det.

Vi gick förbi denna plats av en slump på morgonen. När du studerade menyn hälsade chefen oss och chattade. Inom några minuter arrangerades det att han skulle skicka en taxi till oss för att hämta oss från hotellet till middag. Förvånad över denna servicenivå gick vi dit. Förundringen växte bara med den välkomnande vi fick, vänlighet servitrisen och kvaliteten på maten. Läckra kan inte beskriva det. Mycket smakfullt och fyllande. Vid vårt bord hade vi kycklingvingar, fylld kyckling, fläskspannor och vitlöksbröd. Happy hour är ett måste och även en flaska vin är mycket bra priser. Du och jag kommer definitivt att se oss igen innan vi lämnar.

Under promenaden längs gatan i Candidasa hörde ljudet av levande musik som kommer från You och Me Bar. Gick för att ta en titt och musos var i full sång. Vilken kväll. Möt upp med människor som bodde på samma boende som vi var. Bandet spelade ett mycket brett urval av musik från modern jazz till klassiker, även lite Pink Floyd. Folk som dansar, inklusive de som kör baren. Vilken bra natt tack killar.

Maten är okej, en snitt över din genomsnittliga turistpris för Candidasa, men clincher är att du och mig är utmärkt valuta för pengarna betald. (Närliggande Vincents meny kan ha lite mer stil, men priserna är för höga). Inredningen är lite knasig och rolig; denna plats är tänkt att vara avkopplande och vänlig, och det är. Service hos dig och mig är det bästa i Candidasa, med verkligen omtänksamma servitörer som lyssnar och strävar efter att behaga. Drycker mycket konkurrenskraftiga priser. De musikaliska handlingarna (5 eller 6 nätter i veckan) är bra. Du får mycket fin blues från legendariska Padang Bai sångare Maku & hans band, eller ett riktigt roligt rock and roll band med lady lead singer / rytm gitarrist. Bästa platsen i Candidasa för dans.

Vi hade två stora fredagskvällmiddagar med ett bra band och dans medan vi var i Candidasa i två veckor.
