Hi, this was one of my greatest experiences while traveling to Indonesia. I spent two nights at this hotel, and the view was amazing. The sunrise in the morning was incredibly beautiful. Additionally, all of the staff were very kind to me. At the restaurant, they explained the ingredients in the food and how the local people provide them. The food itself was delicious. The staff were genial, and it was delightful to talk to them.

I highly recommend that you visit and enjoy the same wonderful experience I had.

Our stay at Buahan, a Banyan Tree Escape, was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of Bali’s lush jungle and overlooking the stunning Buahan Valley, this hidden gem provided an unforgettable experience. The 'no-walls, no-doors' concept created a unique sense of freedom and connection to nature that we’ve never experienced before. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle and the sight of misty rice terraces was an absolute dream!

The open-air design of the villas (Bales) allowed us to feel fully immersed in the natural surroundings, while still enjoying the comfort and luxury you’d expect from a Banyan Tree property. The simplicity and elegance of the architecture blended beautifully with the environment, creating a truly peaceful and calming atmosphere.

The hospitality at Buahan was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine kindness. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, providing thoughtful and personalized touches throughout our stay. Whether it was the delicious, locally-sourced meals or the guided nature experiences, every detail was perfectly crafted to create a relaxing and enriching stay.

This is the perfect destination if you're looking to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with yourself and nature. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and at peace. Thank you to the entire team for making this an unforgettable retreat - we can’t wait to return!

My boyfriend and I had an unforgettable stay at Buahan, a Banyan Tree Escape. One I can truly recommend. The resort offers an immersive experience that goes beyond a typical hotel stay. Our open-concept villa, designed without walls, was amazing and so comfortable. It allowed us to really experience the nature around us at all times and we could even hear the nearby waterfall.

We engaged in many activities, such as a cultural flower offering and a hike to a nearby waterfall, which taught us about the local environment and traditions. The Spa provided exceptional wellness treatments sneak we had an amazing couples massage here.

The staff’s genuine kindness and hospitality really elevate Buahan- they made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We can't wait to return one day!

Buahan is not just a hotel—it’s a revelation. Tucked away in the lush jungles of Bali, it feels like stepping into another world, where nature and luxury intertwine seamlessly. From the moment you arrive, the air hums with tranquility, and the surroundings seem to exhale a deep sense of peace.
The villas are nothing short of extraordinary, open to the elements yet cocooned in comfort. “No doors, no walls” as they say. Falling asleep to the symphony of the jungle and waking up to the first light filtering through the trees felt like being part of nature’s rhythm.
The infinity pool, with its breathtaking view over the trees is a masterpiece in itself—a place where time seems to stand still. Each meal was a celebration of local flavors, artfully crafted to nourish both body and soul.
Buahan is more than a stay; it’s an experience that lingers with you long after you leave. It’s a reminder of the beauty that exists in harmony and simplicity. Without a doubt, it is one of the most incredible places we’ve ever had the privilege to visit, and I would return in a heartbeat.

Let me start by saying that this place is very special. As soon as you arrive it's clear that they've achieved something remarkable within the landscape.

The Amazing:
My wife and I chose to stay in the Seven Peaks Bale (the most expensive room on the resort) for two nights to celebrate our honeymoon. The room itself is absolutely stunning with so many special features that it's impossible to list them all here. The view was incredible, the pool was incredible, the room was incredible.

We spent a day in our room just enjoying the wonderful weather and landscape and it was truly a special day that I'll remember forever.

Every day they curate several meals for guests, the menu changes daily and the kitchen staff & bar staff are highly skilled and truly make special dining experiences for their guests. Would especially like to call out the bar team, as a former bartender what they're doing here is an expression of expertise by utilizing local ingredients. Our mimosas were served with fresh squeezed tangerine juice. Literally no expense spared for their work.

The Bad:
Nothing

This place is very expensive, but if you can afford it, it's a very special experience.
