Everything was so delicious! Best gambas I’ve ever tried. Their vegetables are fresh. Lovely place, food, service. Will definitely come back.

Bar Marea is a new (less than a year) coastal Spanish concept in Jakarta's glam SCBD area that I've been eyeing on since 2023. This elegant and airy venue features typical Spanish tapas, pintxos and Mediterranean dishes, using fresh produces sourced locally, from Japan and directly from Spain. Here you either feel like in chic Marbella, lively Ibiza or artsy Valencia, where Mediterranean and Spanish cuisines collide with simplicity, elegance and excellence. Thank you to the manager, Mr. Kabir, and your team for the warm welcome and for the service excellence, as well as for the complimentary aperitivo pintxo. Staff are courteous and efficient, and they can answer and explain any question I asked about the tapas selection with confidence. I know them but I just asked to test their product knowledge.
They even explained in full details! Congrats on the training and development of your human assets! Los pintxos más deliciosos que he probado en cualquier otro sitio de España, los cócteles son fuertes y sorprendentes, musíca de fondo relajante, ambiente elegante, simplemente 10/10. ¡Muchas gracias! ¡Volveré!

As a Spaniard with an extensive palate, I really struggle to like Spanish food out of Spain. This is the only place that I eat and I feel like home. The respect for the product and Spanish flavours is incredible. By far my favourite restaurant in Jakarta. The place is beautiful and chic. You feel like you are in a good quality restaurant in Spain. You’re crazy if you miss the opportunity to eat here.
Thank you to the chef and staff for the true Spanish representation and the hospitality.
