This place might not be the cheapest, but it is worth every penny for a romantic dinner with both Western and authentic Italian cuisine while watching the sunset. The pizza was among the best we have had globally. The staff is eager to assist, and everything we ordered was exceptional, especially the pizzas and prosciutto. We even met the friendly owner, who is a great host. Definitely coming back!

If we could rate this more than five stars, we would. Mamas pizza was a highlight of our trip to Gili Air. My husband is a pizza fanatic and he said this was the best pizza he has eaten in his life! The staff were beyond lovely. The food was INCREDIBLE! We ate there three times in the five days we stayed on the island-and every dish hit the spot every time. The location is epic. The drinks are delicious. We wish we had a mamas pizza in New Zealand. Keep up the amazing work team!!

Must must visit when it Gilli Air! It’s the best pizza I have ever had. Great place to relax and watch the sunset and have a great dinner! We went there almost every evening we were in Gilli! They have the best Tiramisu as well. The staff is extremely friendly and help you in securing a table at the earliest.

I have to say, and my son agreed, that the pizza we had here was as close to perfect as a pizza can get. We had the salami pizza, it was imported Italian salami made from pork. We had to go back before we left and have it again. Gorgeous setting on the beach. You may have to wait for a table as this place is popular but it's worth the wait. I think pizzas will always pale in comparison to the ones here. I come from Australia where wood fire pizzas are popular so l am a tough critic.

Fantastic view, very nice beach area to enjoy the sunset! This is one of the bigger restaurants on the island and very famous, thus: steep prices. After we ordered the drinks came in after just a few minutes.
We had to wait just 10 minutes😳 till we got our pizzas, other tables were also served fast. So no problem in the kitchen to keep up even though the whole terras/restaurant looked full, good job!
The pizzas have a good dough and crust. We had one cheese pizza; was ok, not 10/10 but enjoyable. We had also a pizza margarita, the most honest pizza to review. Honest: the tomato saus was just that; tomato no other flavours no salt. The mozzarella was the hard type mozzarella, which is not used for Margarita, so chunky bits of mozzarella, good crust.
The waiter asked if everything was fine and we told him that we were not satisfied with the margarita, he turned around and we never saw him again😳.
So don’t expect the best pizza, like in Italy, but enjoy the view and sunset.
