I went their for a coffee date with my friend. The coffee taste and smelled so nice. And the environment was so relaxing. The staff was cooperative and friendly all the services was on time. I'll make sure to visit this cafe bar again.

It's fascinating how the overall quality of coffee around the world has improved significantly that you just kind of accept Third Wave Coffee establishments that do espresso-based drinks plus some sort of slow chemex / aeropress specialty coffee alternative as commonplace in today's society. Commonplace or no, it's actually a huge relief being able to sit down and slowly enjoy a cup of slow coffee watching all the busy people walk by to their respective destinations in the city; don't get me wrong, being in Nagano was like paradise, but it seems that I'm too used to the hustle and bustle of urban life to detach myself from it completely for too long. Ironic that I'm reminiscing about my proclivity towards being busy and in an urban environment in an establishment that typically offers an escape from it. Personal anecdotes aside, some of the ji-beer enthusiasts following this account may recognize this brand as they did a few collaborations with Shiga Kōgen (Kibiru, Beer Coffee, etc.) over the past year. Located in the up and coming Takaoka neighborhood on the outskirts of Sakae, they do weekly cupping sessions, roast on premises, and the cute barista pours one hell of a cup of El Injerto.

They have various kinds of roasted coffee, light meal such as sandwiches, finger desserts...good for brunch or afternoon coffee break. There is a giant roasting machine next to the kitchen! They roast their own coffee!!! Cute antique interior and furniture. Clean, quite atmosphere. Well, I was the only customer at the time. I enjoyed my alone time here. Will stop by again when in the neighborhood. 高岳にあるちょっと洒落たカフェ。中はとてもきれいで、落ち着いたラウンジミュージックがかかっていて、とても癒される。サンドイッチぐらいの軽食はできるので、朝ゆっくりしたい時には完璧ですね！お店の中にローストマシーンがあるので自分でコーヒー豆をローストするみたい。結構違った種類のコーヒーが楽しめて、コーヒー好きにはたまらないんじゃないかな。弟曰く、ラテアートのワークショップもやってるので面白そう！ また近くに来たら寄ってみたいな。

Awesome light roast coffee!! Their espresso is flower or peanut like taste. Mixing with smooth formed milk makes their latte silly and you feel relaxing when you are drinking it. It's just wonderful and very much different as Seattle or Italian style coffee. (Kinda similar to Oregon style.) The founder learned the roasting skill in Denmark. It's definitely must go coffee shop in Nagoya.

While in Nagoya for a few days, I was hoping to find a decent coffee house that served quality espressos. Alas this place I found was a nice gem... roomy interior with couches, and locally roasted beans! Had the cappuccino which was more than I expected.
