This is our 5th Disneyland Park on our mission to do all 6. It felt very familiar with some additional features to make it unique from other parks. Not necessarily better just different. A couple of things that surprised us however was how poor the Wi-Fi offering is at the Park. Literally only at the park entrance and that’s it and so if we did not invest in a pocket WiFi like we did we would have had a less pleasant experience because your day here will be significantly better if you can fully utilise the features on their App. Make sure you make use of any 40th anniversary free fast passes this year which become available once you have entered the park. Another thing that was different and a positive is that it’s mandatory in certain areas to sit on the floor to watch the parade and shows which makes for a better viewing experience. Bring a floor pad or cushion! That last thing that was a positive surprise is how reasonably priced the food and drink was. This is a common feature for Japan but to also see it in the parks was fantastic.

The park itself was great with the classic Disney rides and experiences with many however still looking fresh. There are also some with a twist like it’s a small world with Marvel characters and some exclusive rides like beauty and the beast which is set within a scaled castle.

It was very open spaced which help manage the crowds better but you will certainly feel the crowds when you are in the shops or find yourself in an hour queue just for popcorn. On the shopping experience the price for goods are also very reasonable - about £9 for the ears for example. These are about £20 in Europe and the US. A tip though- if you see something you like, buy it. Items sell out fast here.

All the staff are amazing and really welcome you in keeping with the cast member values. The parade isn’t as grand as Disney world in the US but what is?! The nighttime show too was good and it was amazing to be able to sit in front of the castle to watch.

Entered at around 930am and there wasn't any line or waiting time already. It was easy to book on their app and we were able to get in some rides for only around 10-20mins waiting time ⏰️ Splash mountain and big thunder mountain were great! 🎢

The parades were great too and there were also a lot of food/restaurant choices around. 😋

Perfect way to spend a day or two in Japan.

The fireworks show at night (the free one) before closing time was quite a disappointment because it was only shown on the left side of the castle. But it's all good 👍

Everyone enjoyed their time and everything was worth it!

It is Disneyland. How can I give anything but 5 stars? It's a place that takes even grown-ups back to their childhood. Having said that, although the park opens at 9 am, there was a huge line already when we got there. Fast track passes (the free ones) weren't readily available so we could use it once. If you are not fluent in Japanese, then some of the attractions or shows could be difficult to enjoy. Most of the rides are dark rides (indoor attractions). However, the staff are really friendly, and despite it being Sunday, we were able to enjoy 10+ rides in 9 hours we spent there.

Our day at Disneyland was a meticulously planned adventure from start to finish. We invested time in advance to study the rides, shows, and the various pass options available to us. With a combination of complimentary priority passes and Disney Priority Access—which we purchased for quicker entry due to the high wait times—we were able to make the most of our day.

The effort paid off as we managed to experience a total of 12 rides and shows. Each attraction brought its own unique magic, adding to the excitement and enchantment of the day. By strategically using our passes, we navigated through the park efficiently, ensuring we maximized every moment. It was a day full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable Disney magic.

The food options are another highlight—don’t miss the flavored popcorn, Mickey-shaped snacks, and the themed restaurants that offer a delightful dining experience. The park is also known for its exceptional cleanliness, organization, and the incredibly polite and cheerful staff, who go above and beyond to make your visit special.

I highly recommend arriving early, using the Premier Access system for popular rides, and staying for the nighttime fireworks, which create a truly unforgettable ending to the day. Whether you are a Disney fan or just looking for a fun-filled adventure, Tokyo Disneyland is an experience you won’t want to miss!
