Portioner prissätts på köttets vikt. . 150 g kan kosta cirka JPY 6000. . . så du måste vara beredd på det. Det är en mycket liten restaurang, mycket mysig och personalen är mycket trevlig. Vi hade ett par glas vin som var OK men det finns alltid möjligheten till skull. . Jag var där med en lokal av Kobe. .

Ito Grill är en pittoresk Kobe Beef Restaurant, på andra våningen i en liten byggnad utan bilder på skyltarna. En japansk vän från Kobe rekommenderade denna restaurang i Chinatown-området Kobe. Staden är naturligtvis känd för regionens världsberömda nötkött, men denna restaurang tillgodosade inte turister med skyltar utanför. Detta till oss var ett gott tecken, och maten, atmosfären och personalen svika inte. Du väljer bara din biff och de andra rätterna är inställda, alla var läckra. Klienten kunde tyvärr vara invånare i staden. Vi har haft Kobe beef innan, både i Japan och på andra håll, Teppanyaki stil. Men denna restaurang grillar biffen över träkol och det var verkligen speciellt. Kocken äger restaurangen och är synligt stolt över sitt kök på ett mycket värdigt sätt. När vi lämnade tittade vi på tecken på andra restauranger och priserna vi betalade var mycket bättre att vad de andra restaurangerna annonserade.

Vi kom hela vägen från Singapore till Kobe och gjort en bokning på Ito Grill för Kobe-biff. Vi såg fram emot det, men blev chockade över att vara vände sig bort tvärt becoz vi hade våra 8 månader gammal baby. Våra barn sov på den tiden! Och för att göra saken värre, personalen var oförskämd mot oss och helt enkelt shooed oss på nedervåningen. Till slut gick vi till en annan restaurang i närheten där personalen var 200 gånger vänligare. Denna typ av arrogant natur tar verkligen Kobe att skämmas.
