Delightful restaurant serving a wide variety of tempura vegetables. The tempura batter was light and crispy, cooked to perfection. After the half omakase, the chef brought over a basket and asked which additional vegetables we wanted to order à la carte. It was perfect, allowing us to choose what we preferred. The sake options were delicious as well. Everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend!

I had the standard course dinner and it was the best tempura I've ever had. I went alone, and both the chef and hostess were friendly and accommodating. The food was great! Everything was the perfect temperature and texture, and flavor was so good. The timing of each dish was also good. They made me love ingredients that I normally don't reach for. Overall great experience and I would love to come back when I can!

Incredible dining experience. It was the best tempura we ever had. I never had a fried shrimp that was so full of flavor before. Masterfully cooked courses with great flavor and also custom dishes by the chef. The staff is very friendly and the overall experience very enjoyable!

今回、初訪問。何度かお店とのタイミングが合わずでしたがようやく行く事が出来ました。
京都で、美味しい天麩羅を頂きたいと思いインスタなどて気になっていたぎをん川柳さんに伺わせて頂きました。
祇園にありますが、落ち着いた雰囲気の場所にあり自身が好きな隠れ家っぽい所が凄く良い感じ。
お料理は、何品かコースで出して頂きその後は好きな物を頼むスタイル。
色んな旬の食材を見せて頂き正直悩みます。
食べたい物ばかりだったのですが、自分とのお腹の相談でした。
お酒も、豊富にあり今回は若女将にお任せでお願いしました。
定番の食材の天麩羅やここでしか味わえない様な変わり種の天麩羅もありお酒と共に楽しむ事が出来ました。
大将や、若女将とも気さくにお話しすることが出来居心地も良くお料理もお酒も美味しく頂けました。

In Kyoto, I wanted to try some delicious tempura, so I visited Mr. Gion Senryu, who I had noticed on Instagram.
Although it is located in Gion, it has a calm atmosphere and feels like a hideaway that I like.
The style of the meal is that you are served several courses and then order what you like.
Honestly, I'm having trouble seeing all the different seasonal ingredients.
I wanted to eat all the things I wanted to eat, but I had to talk to myself about my stomach.
There was also a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, and this time I asked the young proprietress to leave it to me.
We had tempura made with the standard ingredients, as well as unusual tempura that can only be tasted here, and we were able to enjoy it with alcohol.
I was able to have a friendly conversation with the owner and the young proprietress, and the food and drinks were delicious.

11月28日の夕食は西宮に住む友人と、予約した祇園の天ぷら割烹川柳さんへ
昨年移転され天ぷら専門の割烹に成ってからは初めての訪いです
カウンター中心の店内は以前と変わりなく、店長やスタッフの女性の接客も良く、ホスピタリティの高いお店です
蕪とつくねのスープから始まり天ぷらは数本のコースの後は、アラカルトで追加しました
金目鯛や白子等の天ぷらもお初でしたが大変に美味しく頂きました
雲丹などの入ったお造りは、海苔に乗せて山葵を添えサッパリとした味わいです
ビール、ハイボールそしてお店お勧めの日本酒と天ぷらの相性が絶品でした
締めは天丼、卵の黄身ののった天丼はサッパリと美味しくハマってしまいそうです

For dinner on November 28th, I went to Senryu, a tempura kappo restaurant in Gion that I had booked with a friend who lives in Nishinomiya.
This is my first visit since it moved last year and became a restaurant specializing in tempura.
The counter-centered interior of the store remains the same as before, and the store has a high level of hospitality, with good customer service from the manager and female staff.
We started with turnip and meatball soup, and after several courses of tempura, we added it a la carte.
It was my first time to try tempura such as golden sea bream and milt, but it was very delicious.
Sashimi containing sea urchin and other ingredients is placed on seaweed and served with wasabi for a refreshing taste.
The beer, highball, and sake recommended by the restaurant went perfectly with the tempura.
Finish off with the tempura bowl, which is topped with egg yolk and is so refreshing and delicious that you'll probably get addicted to it.
