This is definitely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. Perfect service in every single detail since the moment we arrived. Every staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our room was amazing - everything was perfect, from the details of the furnitures to the interior design. The shower was very comfy and the bed was the best as well. The breakfast (both Japanese and Western) was extremely delicious! The garden was also very well designed with many symbolic elements in Kyoto! We would definitely want to come back and stay here next time we visit Kyoto again!

We stayed for 4 nights & were thoroughly impressed by our experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel is truly luxurious. The room was spacious & thoughtfully laid out, providing plenty of space to move around comfortably. Everything in the room looked new, well-maintained & immaculately clean, giving us a sense of ease & relaxation during our stay.

The level of service was outstanding. The staff went above & beyond to make us feel welcome, greeting us by name each day, which added a personal touch to our visit. We were made to feel like valued guests & their attention to detail was evident throughout our stay.

Had an amazing stay here. Stayed for 3 nights. I work for Marriott and stayed using my discount.

This hotel is beautiful, probably the prettiest I have ever been to. The service is on par with the best I've ever experienced. Welcome tea was a nice touch. Not much to say other than that it was near perfection.

The hot spring in the hotel was barely used, so my friend and I basically had it all to ourselves which was very nice. Room was beautiful and spacious, shower was great. Breakfast is a buffet with 1 a-la-carte item, the French toast the best choice in my opinion.

One of the best designed hotels in Japan. Breathtaking architecture and landscaping. Elegantly designed rooms (minimal chic aesthetic)  and the thermal spa/ private onsen experience was also fantastic. The service (senior management specifically) is very good which made up for not having firm mattresses and a underwhelming massage at the spa. The breakfast could also do with more vegetarian friendly options.

Maybe one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed. A perfect blend of traditional Japanese elements with the familiar amenities of a western hotel. The best Japanese breakfast I had in all of Japan (Tokyo included). Beautiful bathroom. Both elevated and cozy.
