First time having Wagyu beef and I'm glad I had it at Hafuu. We made a reservation through our hotel.
Service was excellent. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. Would recommend sharing one of the course meals between two people.

Was a random recommendation and it turned out to be one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Quality of the food was amazing and the entire course was well executed - each dish had its purpose and the whole meal was an experience itself…. Would highly recommend. Go for the dinner sets, and tell them to split the cut to share with your +1, it’s worth it

Fantastic all round. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming to the two of whom speak zero Japanese.

The food was superb, each course carefully put together and explained. The set menu at 10,400¥ for 4+ courses and coffee was amazing value especially for the quality.

The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, each group just chatting amongst themselves, nothing overly boisterous.
I will be back in Kyoto next year and I intend on revisiting Hafuu for sure.

Staff were so friendly, food was amazing and we overall had a great experience. We had the wagyu sandwich and wagyu set meal - all delicious. I loved here and hope it can’t keep its Japanese authenticity.
