Så snart de tillkännagav alla regler vid vår ankomst insåg jag att det var ett misstag. Bordsavgiften på 700 yen, max 90 minuter, reglerna för hur man äter sushi. Servicen var perfunctory - jag kände mig som på ett transportband för deras super förfinad affärsmodell. Sushin var blandad. Tiny ok smaka sushi var en besvikelse men hade också mycket större nigiri sushi. Grönsakstempuran var också en liten portion. Det var alla västerländska turister och så långt ifrån autentisk känsla som jag har sett här. Problemet med TripAdvisors höga betyg är att ställen ibland tappar det som fick dem dit och sedan bara badar i sin härlighet och pressar den till max.

Jag läste i trip advisor detta var en av de bästa sushi i Kyoto, och nära mitt hotell i Gian. Jag läste också att det var ett problem att gå “solo” här rgd tabeller och sånt, men inte för mig. Jag gick, de frågade mig om jag var ok att dela ett bord och sa inga problem, så jag fick paras ihop med en tjej som också var där i samma situation. vi fick bord 10 minuter efter (om inte tidigare) , och allt gick bra. sushin var fantastisk! mycket välsmakande och den söta sake matchade perfekt. Jag var väldigt hungrig och beställde planty av mat (och jag brydde mig inte om priser) . Totalt betalade jag 8000 JPY (och jag drack sake) , och för mig var detta ett bra pris för en kvalitetssushi i mest populära området i Kyoto.
