Vi snubblat över Fumiya på promenad tillbaka nerför backen från Ginkaku - ji under lunchen på en varm juni dag och togs in av bilderna på de utarbetade risbollarna och chansen att sitta ner, inuti. Risbollarna visade sig vara goda som de såg ut, men överträffades av den utmärkt kokta laxen, det oändliga fria gröna teet och den underbara tjänsten, med mycket bra engelska. För dem efter en billig måltid serverades stora, smakrika risbollar vid en räknare inuti eller vid bordet nära dörren, men för den fulla upplevelsen huvudet nere på baksidan, ta en meny och upplev en av de bästa måltiderna du kommer att har i Japan, till ett bra pris och med underbar service.

Denna restaurang ligger längs körfältet till Ginkakuji-templet. Det var en bra resten stopp under denna heta tiden i Kyoto. De har engelska menyer. En av servrarna talade utmärkt engelska. De serverar även lätta luncher och massor av desserter. Jag hade bara en stor öl med en musubi (risboll) för att ha en paus i promenader. Fantastiskt ställe.

Vi hade en mycket trevlig, enkel lunch på Onmai Tsukas" sade Fumiya, med grönt te och en green tea soda.
