Can only comment on the drinks since that's all we got, but as a tourist this place was a fun time. We came around 1pm on a Monday afternoon and there were still a handful of groups having drinks. I can only imagine how fun this place would be at night on a weekend.

This place houses multiple restaurants in more of a food hall kind of vibe, but a lot of it comes down to their drinks which specialize in sake. I came here to try the 18 sakes from 18 different breweries, which is a great price at 2480 yen. The sakes came with descriptions for each, including a map of where each one came from in Kyoto. I personally think this is a must try for any tourists that enjoys getting their drink on.

The staff here are mostly friendly, one waitress kind of seemed a little annoyed that we asked about a drink that never came out, until she realized that she had made a mistake and she apologized and brought it right out. Our main waitress tried her best to communicate with us which we really appreciated.

If you’re in Kyoto and love sake, this tasting experience is an absolute must! I had the chance to sample 18 incredible flights of sake, each with unique flavors and aromas that showcased the depth and diversity of Japanese sake craftsmanship. The host was extremely knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights into the brewing process and the regional differences between sakes. The snacks paired perfectly with the drinks, enhancing the overall experience and keeping the tasting session enjoyable throughout. The setting was intimate and beautifully designed, creating the perfect ambiance to savor each sip. I left with a deeper appreciation for sake and some new favorites to enjoy at home. Highly recommend this unforgettable experience!

Went here for lunch on a Saturday, and it was great. It was busy, but we got seats. We did the 18 wake tasting and the beginner tasting. What a good variety of sake. You can only do the 18 sake tasting at the counter, and they require 1 drink per person. The 18 sale only counts as one. It seemed like we were the only foreigners there, which means it is good! Yhe wait staff was very attentive and nice with good English. About 6600 yen for 18 tasting, beginner tasting, and two dishes

This place was amazing years ago when I was in Japan, and it's amazing now that I visited back! There is so much amazing food to choose from, we got the Unagi omelet, chicken and beef skewers, Ramen, their local craft yuzu beer/cider which was amazing as well, we drank 6 each! They gave us a free sake shot when we sat down, on the house which was really good. As for Sake, we drank Tama, which was very easy to drink and kind of sweet tasting. The servers were very kind and attentive, and were very sweet and kind, that when we were at their gachapon machines trying to get certain sake gachas, they assisted us in changing bills into coins so we can continue our drunker gacha experience. They were cheering us on and getting in on the excitement during our gacha experience. This place needs to be in your itinerary when visiting Kyoto.

Super cool experience with sake tasting. We got to try 18 different sake from the Fushimi village. If you’re into such tasting in general, this is for sure for you due to the distinguishing flavours as well as information. Additionally, you could order different food form surround restaurants, which adds such a cool deal to this tasting. It is because you could pair different food with your sake of choice. Just a tiny little minus point that the food was just average when we were there and unfortunately nothing special.
