Great experience and so much fun walking around old Kyoto in traditional attire.  The women at the shop were super helpful in picking out the kimono and accent pieces and the whole process was very quick and professional.  We walked in without a reservation on a Saturday morning and we were decked out within 15 minutes.  Highly recommend

Excellent service and many lovely kimonos to choose from! Being tall I paid for the plus size set with full dressing and hairstyling. The women working there were very friendly and helpful!

All the ladies in the shop treated me and my partners family with respect. They spoke enough English for the whole process to go smoothly and everyone was really happy at the end of the day. Only downside was options for design became limited for one female in the family as the arm lengths were too short for her height and she had to upsize due to it. Apart from this everything else was great and shop in central location great for photos and shopping.

We had SO much fun doing this. We were worried that it would somehow be offensive for us to be wearing kimonos as western women. However, our guide assured us that local people are happy to see us engaging in the culture and trying to understand this traditional form of dress. From the shop we walked up to Kiyomizu temple and took beautiful photos in our kimonos. So many people (both local and tourists) wanted to take photos with us and were smiling and happy. I was a very reluctant participant, but this ended up being a really fun highlight of our time in a Kyoto.

A great service! The staff were very friendly, and they offered a wide variety of kimonos. They took care of our large suitcases, which made it very convenient for us to explore the Gion area. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for kimonos.
