漫画「へうげもの」を読んで古田織部を知り、一度来てみたいと思っていました。
今回の展示ではへうげものにも出てきた上田宗箇、小堀遠州、本阿弥光悦などの縁の品も見れてよかったです。
特に織部の手紙では、あの独特の筆跡が見れて嬉しかった。

In this exhibition, it was great to see items related to Soko Ueda, Enshu Kobori, and Koetsu Hon'ami, who all appeared in Heugemono.

小さいけど情報量はすごい。東京の大企業の、百科事典のような美術館と違い、なにかたまたま運よくある人から身内話をきくような感じがした。一般の人から資料、茶道具など織部関係を募るチラシをみた。文化については、京都と東京は大人と子供なんだと思った。

It's small, but the amount of information is amazing. Unlike the encyclopedia-like art museums run by large companies in Tokyo, it felt like I was listening to some personal stories from some lucky person. I saw a flyer soliciting materials, tea utensils, and other materials related to Oribe from the general public. Regarding culture, I thought that Kyoto and Tokyo are about adults and children.

こじんまりながら、品のある風格と展示は素晴らしかったです。

映像資料も良かったのですが、もう少し織部宗匠の人物像を深掘りされてたら良かったかな〜と思います
