TofukuJi Temple, worth the visit if you can get the timing right to see the autumn leafs.
The facility is small and can be easily walked in 30 minutes.
Some may not think its worth it, but I loved seeing the autumn leaves here.
The colours are vibrant and really grab your attention.
The bridge gives an amazing opportunity to get a photo with autumn leafs in the background.

We only got the ticket to see the 4 gardens. You can't really go into the gardens but only look at them. Still relaxing if you sit along the side and admire the intricate different garden layout.
We spent about 45-60 min here.

If you want to spend your money on temples and shrines, this is one of my most recommended spots in Kyoto. It’s money well spent for both of us. The ground of the temple was huge offering many buildings and structures and garden. The first part of the temple was free and this area alone is worth it. You can basically go there without entering the areas with entry fee and you will most likely be satisfied. The best time to go is autumn so about the end of October and the beginning of November. This temple will not disappoint you. The second part of the temple is where you have to pay fees to enter. Covering two impressive Japanese gardens and grounds, shrines and buildings, the iconic bridge etc. you honestly can spend a day inside the building. It’s peaceful and beautiful. Lots of spots for you to take pictures I guarantee that.

This temple very close to the Tofuku-ji station. If you buy 1000¥ ticket you can  enter tofukuji bridge and garden. I think it’s worth to see the fall colors. Also Who is like to enjoy the building architecture, gardens scenery this place is good. I went there middle of December I really enjoyed the fall colors

If you have more time in Kyoto , can spare some time visit here. Here suitable for those who want to look for inner peace, the temple is quiet and not much tourists here. Need to pay for entry and take off the shoes, entire place can feel the zen vibe
