Even from before our trip, we have communicated with your hotel for several inquiries. Akane Yamamoto san was very helpful and clearly address our questions one by one. When we arrived, the check in process was also nice. We were explained some T&C. We sent back two luggages to our next hotel in Tokyo, the process was also smooth. We spent 4D4N in your hotel. The room quality was great and room service was also very responsive. Love the body & hair shampoo! Our check out process was also hassle-free. Your hotel location is very strategic: in the midst of Osaka main street, close enough to crowd center like Shinsaibashisuji, Don Quijote, and Dotonbori but silent enough for good night rest. Directly connected to Shinsaibashi Station, only 2-3 escalator down from hotel lobby. I recommend it for those who would like to visit Osaka.

Stayed here for three nights late January 2025. Room is small but expected (it’s central tourist area in Japan!). A bit worried before checking in as some reviews said rooms are dated. Luckily my room is nice and neat, doesn’t feel or smell dated at all. There’s a portable air purifier with humidifying function in the room.
Staff was friendly and helpful too. Not to mention the yummy breakfast (included in my room fee) available in their western and Japanese restaurants.
And I love the airport shuttle so I didn’t have to carry my two heavy luggages and take public transit. Remember to get bus tickets soon!
Only cons for myself (may not be an issue for others):
-Window cleaning happens from 10am to 5pm. So if I wanna sleep in I have to shut the black-out curtain so cleaning workers won’t see inside my room.
-Room temperature cannot be adjusted for my floor (actually all floors below 20-something level).
Overall it’s a nice stay. Will definitely book again.

I visited during early spring and very thankful that the hotel was connected to the subway and the malls on b2 / b3 level. Makes the trip to subway easier and warmer. Nikko is an elegant hotel with nice, helpful, foreigner-friendly staffs! I enjoyed my stay!

I highly recommend this hotel because of its location, quality of service and rooms. We had a great view of the city. The train station is just right below giving access to the shops across.
The staff is accommodating.
Room size is quite similar to other hotels in Japan. We got the superior room for additional space for our luggages.
There are also restaurants around the area that are great for gastronomic experience.

I am not sure what they did with all the negative reviews. This was a terrible place to stay. The rooms were dirty, outdated and just gross. The furniture and carpets all need to be changed. The room was so dirty. When I removed the pillow, there was a layer of dirt underneath. The washroom had a strong odour of urine and it did not go away even after the washroom was cleaned. It was just terrible. The hotel lobby is beautiful but don't be fooled by how the entrance looks. The hotel location is perfect but there are so many other hotels in the area that you could consider for your stay.
