We had the kaiseki course and the food was sublime. The chefs redefined my understanding of some of the ingredients (I have never tasted such tender and fragrant daikon, for example).

Chef Kubo-San took over the restaurant from a previous owner and they have 50 years of history now. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing! We got the Bamboo Course which contains 7 courses + 1 main dish + 1 dessert. We were here on the 24th of November.

I cannot sound my amazement of the process since this is my first Kaiseki experience. The chefs are making food in front of you (yes we're by the counter by choice).

Got the dishes, tasted our first Fugu, desserts were great, the food were pretty, tasted good, we're full (because it has proper main dish), all of it are really amazing.

We reserved from our hotel concierge a day before so you can try that too.

One of the best meals of my life. The staff is impeccably friendly and courteous. The food, the plating, the atmosphere were 10/10. The chefs are artists and how they work with each other and how much respect they have for their art was very interesting to see.

Highly recommended if you're looking for a multi-course Kaiseki dinner.

Really good. Went because of the raving reviews. Did not reserve so went at 5.15pm. Place starts getting busy at about 6.15pm. Husband does not eat sashimi but the chefs were accommodating. Fabulous end with the jelly in black sugar syrup and soy flour.

Experience legitimised and affirmed by the constant flow of elders (aged 45 and above), and you would agree this is a strong sign of the authencity of traditional cuisine.

The restaurant usually full and recommend make reservation. An open kitchen concept and able to watch crews working. We order the second highest price omakase set. Sake taste good. The set was amazing and cooked with care and good presentation. Fabulous meal end with wonderful dessert. Server was friendly and explained each dish while serving. Owner-chef came and said hello to us. Considering the quality of food, services and the ambiance, it was a value for money.
