Probably one of the most underrated restaurants along Dotonbori, we've come to love this place. No lines, lots of locals dine here. They ask what size of rice you want, so no need to order extra rice. They offer unlimited tea with two flavors, sesame seed for rice toppings and unlimited pickled side dish. Their meal sizes are generously big and delicious, definitely worth the money

Came for breakfast and you order via the ticket machine. You hand the ticket over to the staff who comes to attend you right away. Seating is wherever you find a spot after ordering. Very good pricing and a wide variety of food choices. With not many places open early for breakfast, this was a good go to but also just the homestyle quick quality was good enough to eat continuously.

Fuss free and value for money. Came on  Sat evening and there wasn't a line. Food is served fast and the system was really efficient. You order and pay in cash via the ticketing machine.  My server spoke English and was able to answer my qns. There's a menu with English at the entrance.

We ordered a medium rice and it was still too much for the ladies in our group.

It's almost like a fast food restaurant, you start by ordering on their kiosk, which is completely in Japanese. Wife & I had to do some Google translating while putting in our orders.
You have to put in your cash first for your clicks to generate an order ticket, which the staff will collect from you.

Food is delicious and affordable, not really an easy find but it's located in the busy shopping streets of senichimae.

Set meals at a decent price, served 24 hours a day. The vending machine does not have an "English" option, but every menu has a photo and you won't have any trouble ordering. The service from the store manager on the day of my visit was helpful and kind. Free tea/water and refills of rice available.
