We enjoyed our stay here! Big rooms, clean hotel, and a quick walk to Umeda Station and plenty of shops/restaurants. We looked forward to relaxing in our room at the end of the day! Biggest pros are the breakfast buffet (SO many yummy options; it's a good mix of western & Japanese cuisine) & there's a Lawson next door. :)

I booked 2 rooms here a trip with my Mom and Dad (3 people). Staff was able to reply to my email to confirm the booking (because I emailed them first to confirm). I booked 2 rooms and was able to have rooms next to each other. The room is way more spacious than I thought, enough for 2 people to open their 28 inch baggage at the same time with remaining space to navigate the room without issue. Sound proof is pretty good. Location is not the best but still convenient, waking to Osaka/ Umeda station takes around 10 minutes. It has a 24hour Lawson convenient store right by the entrance of the hotel. Seems like the hotel is also located in an area with a lot of restaurants that attract Japanese locals (employees) to visit at night. All in all a very pleasant experience at this hotel (particularly if you travel to Japan a lot and know how small a room can be, the space this hotel rooms can offer can be amazing), and will for sure book this again if decide to stay in Osaka/ Umeda station area.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in Japan, completely ruining my impression of Japanese hospitality. The room I booked clearly stated it included two single beds, but the front desk insisted it was “randomly assigned” and refused to honor the booking details unless I paid an additional 6,400 JPY. The staff, including the manager, were shockingly unprofessional, dismissive, and even mocked us during the conversation. Despite wasting nearly an hour at check-in, they showed no willingness to resolve the issue and offered no apology. To make matters worse, I later discovered the hotel had quietly updated the room information online, proving that the issue was entirely their fault. This blatant lack of responsibility and disrespect for guests is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of Japanese hospitality. Avoid this hotel if you value your time and peace of mind!

Regarding my last comment about not providing only one extra bottle of water , I understand you said it’s policy, but you should know customer services is about flexibility and customer experience, policy is dead, we are human being and should able to distinguish what need to be flexible. That’s why I am saying your staffs following the policy but unable to provide customer services , unable to understand customer needs and others feeling, this is customer services job but act like robot and just strictly following the policy, then why not just use AI for check in and out ?! Then what’s the point of hiring someone at front desk nowadays?
Giving one extra water bottle is a tiny extra work and caring for customers, which will add value and benefit to your reputation, but on the other hand if you refuse this services, you can screw up your hotel repetition from top to bottom, this is very very simple logic. Once again policy is policy , you are human being, you guys need to make sensible judgement, otherwise you won’t improve

The rooms feel dated (as does the rest of Japan TBH - although not in a bad way!) but they are nonetheless comfy. I've traveled everywhere and this is the first hotel that provides pajamas!
My family raved about the breakfast. Vast selection of Japanese and western dishes. I think we'd go back based on the breakfast alone.
