There was one time that my friend and I went here. There was a long queue, but as I was craving for some shrimp and mahi-mahi... we waited until we got a table. I think we waited for an hour until we got the table. (That's how crowded it was then!) While waiting, we went around and had "a few" snacks and drinks around. I think I got too many than I expected so when we went back to the restaurant and got our table, I started feeling pretty ill... That didn't stop my from ordering my shrimp and mahi-mahi though. HA! Staff were really nice and were very helpful, when they should have kicked me out of the place already. I didn't do anything damaging or anything, just a not the most acceptable guest that time, but were very caring. My friend on the other hand, was just laughing.

Shrimp skewer with southern fried chicken was pretty good as was English service. Sad the lunch doesn't include a free drink, so it's over my usual lunch budget. Food should be served at a warmer temperature.

Can't say I didn't like it. We actually stopped there to hide from the heavy rain, and decided to order beers and a large bowl of shrimps to share. The portions are really big, like American big. There were four of us, and each one had plenty. And I see how the shrimp was probably cooked in 10 pounds of pure butter, but it was so good that at this point I didn't care :). I definitely recommend this place. Oh, they do have smoking areas in doors. And it's not like someone is smoking next to you, but still. I could smell cigarets from the moment I walked it. It didn't spoil my overall experience in any way though.

Traveled to Japan from America and where does my Japanese friend want to take me for dinner? Bubba Gumps (when I asked what my other options were she suggested TGIF, lol she's so cute). I haven't been to the Bubba Gumps in America so I can't compare the two. However, there's no way it is as overpriced as this one was. We started out with the Delta Sunset hand-shaken margarita (1,030 yen). The entire thing was ice and barely enough to fill 4 Japanese sized glasses. We ended up ordering a second, the Medal Margarita (1,030 yen). Same deal, not as good as the first. 4 glasses of margarita in and I was barely feeling it. My Asian glow made no appearance that night. We shared the Shrimper's Net Catch ( 250g for 1,910 yen) and a rice dish with fish on top- I can't find it on the online menu! My friend has tried all of the Shrimper's Catch sauces and says the garlic sauce is the best. I think she was right. The rice dish was a plate of buttered rice with a white fish and spinach on top. The food was good and definitely not something you will find anywhere else in Japan. However, the portions were too small for the prices. Korakuen station or Suidoubashi gets you pretty close to the restaurant. It's located next to an amusement park and a pretty big mall. Try to snag a seat by the window so you can watch the small lighted fountain show.
