One of the nicer coffee shops in Shinjuku located in the basement of a big commercial building. The restaurant is divided into a coffee shop and an Italian restaurant. We sat outside and tried their coffees and we also ordered a small margharita pizza. The coffees were amazing but I wasn't really blown away with their pizza. Will definitely come here again for the coffee

Nice internet cafe, located near the Shinjuku Train station and near the Keio Plaza Hotel. Tip :Order the large coffee, their regular size coffee cups are very small. We ordered the banana pancakes and the ham hot sandwich. Both items were really good. Only drawback is that people can smoke inside. Forgot what that was like back in the day,, smoking or Non? Anyway, three pancake plates, two sandwiches and 5 coffees for about $45 bucks. Not bad. Also, the cashier spoke English.

Wasn't a big fan - place looked much nicer on its website and the (admittedly random/non-Yelp) online reviews were much higher than merited. You are much better going for a Japanese breakfast offering in the Shinjuku area. For a western option, I recommend spending a bit more and going to Bills in Harajuku - much more pleasant and delicious!!!

Good flat white, though fancy design on it. The ham and cheese sandwiches are good and friendly atmosphere makes this a solid 4 stars. For lunch they have an all you can eat pizza and salad for 1,500 yen. The pizzas are made with two different types of wood. I will definitely try this later. But come check out for good coffee and very decent breakfast food (cafe style).

Cute place with great cappuccino. I DO agree. Service is bad. They also made all of my group buy something. Claiming to sit there, we must order. I kept my composure, drinks were cheap and the drinks were GOOD. So, I guess I can oblige.

A great little coffee place in Shinjuku, very good quality coffee, rustic well appointed setting, serving coffee, tea as well as Danishes and other breakfast options. English menu. The best coffee we've had in the area & we tried all the major ones. Wish we found this place on day one.

Not a fan , the cheese cake is good, whereas the coffee is average. And the staff were indifferent which is very rare in Japan . I don't see the welcoming or presence of the crew whatsoever.. just felt cold and stiffness .

Mediocre food comparable to Post-Starbucks La Boulange. I needed an reliable yet affordable source of coffee beans to cold-brew when I lived in Tokyo. I thought there would be coffee snobs in Japan ever since Blue Bottle opened in Omote Sando and BB's coined term "Kyoto"Style Ice Coffee. Another stereotype I was trying to play into I guess, but eventually I found their chef's blend after testing several single origins, the perfect candidate for cold brewing. 4-Stars I'm a fan of their beans. Coffee was good ,but small hole-in-the-wall coffee shops had really good iced coffee too, even Doutor had good ice coffee! The other Paul Bassett location in Shibuya has a little more of a selection but it's double the price. A cup of coffee at the other location was 700 JPY but I suspect there was a cover charge.

We came here for breakfast at 8am, not a lot of places are open at this hour. Food was good and coffee is good and strong. Nice open and airy place.
