Large and tasty burgers and sandwiches. Fries are good, they taste like crispy potatoes. Pricing is in the middle ground. Foreigner friendly, and just about everything can be modified for a dairy free meal

As a USA citizen I was excited to have a Hawaiian burger in Tokyo. This seemed like a frozen Costco patty thrown on the grill still frozen solid. Cooked completed well done and then some. Hardly resembled fresh beef.

Having just finished our visit to the observation deck at the Tokyo Skytree, we scoured the mall at the tower's base for a protein-laden meal. The Japanese restaurants were to fish-focused, and we needed chicken or beef to satiate our American palates. We had two choices: KFC, where the line was way too long, and Kua Aina, which we had never heard of. The downside was that despite being seated immediately, it took 30 minutes to fix 3 burgers. What could they possibly be doing in the kitchen??? Good luck if you're starving, like we were. But the quality was worth the wait. Soft buns surrounded high quality, juicy beef patties with fresh toppings. The fries were crispy, just as good as if we were back in the states. I'd recommend this place to any American families near the Skytree looking for a taste of home.

The drink cup of Kua'aina shows all the cities there's a restaurant in. I remember seeing there was a Kua'aina in Tokyo, so when my family came across it while visiting the Sky Tree, I knew I had to go in to compare it to the one in Haleiwa, Hawaii. The staff was really friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. It definitely tastes the same as the one in HI, good quality and taste. If you're craving burgers while in Tokyo, I would definitely recommend coming here!

If you want something different from McDonalds or Burger King, but still fancy something American inspired, Kua Aina provides a very fresh tasting range of burgers and other American style foods with a Hawaiian twist. The food here is very fresh tasting, with as much focus placed on green vegetables as there is to the well prepared and cooked burgers. The sides are also very well prepared and their pancakes are deliciously sweet and succulent. The portions here are very generous and you can certainly get that vibe of the sea and sun from this restaurant. Everything feels cool and fresh, just how you would expect Hawaii to be.
